Crucible spawning
There's enough post on a daily basis about how trash matchmaking is but I haven't seen anybody make this comment... Whatever happened to the feature where it would pop up on the screen that the game was looking for an acceptable place to spawn you?? I don't know how many countless times in the last two days alone I got spawned into an enemy super... Why is this a thing? Come on Bungie please do better.

2 RepliesThere's a lot of people commenting about spawn locations etc. Apparently some didn't read the entire thing I posted when I mentioned that there used to be a feature in which you would get a spawn delay and it would find an acceptable place to put you. Now it just spawns you in front of enemy supers and the like. This PVP is never going to be perfect not even close, but nobody will ever ever convince me that some of the positive things that they removed were for the better. Bring back spawn delays so people are not getting stat farmed in mercy rule matches.

There is nothing the spawn system can do to keep you safe if 90% of the map is a constantly rotating combat zone. Like the locker room spawn trap on Dead Cliffs, or the B-Flag spawn trap on Burnout. You have to remember that most of these maps were not meant for 6v6. That was an addition that came later, and the maps were hastily made to support it.

Spawns are trash, Bungie would spawn you right next to where you died from a super.

Yesterday I was constantly being spawned in front the enemy spawn and getting killed from behind. Great system

The amount of times you spawn in front of the same super that just killed you or in the middle of 4 opponents that are already shooting you before you can even move. This is what drives me nuts in crucible. This is what makes people rage! Deaths where you can’t defend yourself. This is also why players hate stasis. Because you can’t fight back.

I was just thrown into a match that should have been mercied. I spawn died about 5 time before they ended they mercied the match... the whole pvp experience is trash...

The map sizes aren't large enough for safe spawns 80% of the time. Especially in control. Competitive isnt bad at all unless your teammate is alone fighting the WHOLE squad. Then yeah the spawns sending u miles away lol

In IB, I was killed by a Golden Gun, and respawned almost where I died, and got killed by the last GG shot.

I cant remember what game it was (think cod or battlefield 2) you had a safe spawn zone that the enemy could not get close to so you had at least a chance of not being spawn killed thats what crucible needs

1 ReplyGot killed by a titan super spawned then got killed again by the same titan. I love it when I spawn next to an enemy and they start shooting me before I can do anything. That is always a fun one. Bungie is really struggling.

Don't let this get lost! The amount of times I've spawned into a super (sometimes the same one that killed me in the first place) or in the middle of the enemy team is unreal. This definitely needs sorting!
