Meanwhile hunters and titans have 2 and 4, respectively?
The uptime on exotic benefits for titans and hunters is leagues beyond what warlocks can maintain.
Take a look at your collections.
So many hunter and Titan exotics: "on hit, when you do damage, when you take damage, when you hit precision shots"
Meanwhile warlocks: "after a kill, on a void kill, when you get a kill with a weapon that has the same element as your currently equipped subclass" etc

Wings of a sacred world and eyes of another world don’t require kills to activate. So instead of posting the typical warlocks are mistreated. Do some research. It took me less then a minute to find those two exotics.
nibbles crayon
Well they need something to get them out of the library where they spend most of their time fantasising about what they’d like to do to ikora. 🤪
-
Because warlocks actually take skill... that’s why you see soooooo many hunters and titans.

I dont really see why it matters. For example if you look at the meta PvE exotics for warlocks and titans, which are Phoenix protocol and Ursa furiosa, yes phoenix requires kills and ursa requires you to take damage but both are equally ridiculously strong and a literal must have cannot go without in GMs. If you look at Knucklehead radar or MK. 44 stand asides, two exotics I have literally never seen on someone's character in d2, compared to something like Karnstein armlets or crown of tempests, which one is the better exotic? Basing how strong one class is over the other by how their exotic perks are activated is just a poor representation. Every class has useful exotics and useless exotics.

I mean...you look at the titans kit and a vast majority of their subclasses demand kills to even work. Warlocks have those too, but titans by far have the greatest number of kill requirements to proc their subclass effects (literally the entirety of sunbreaker, sentinel, and a good chunk of striker...behemoth is the only one that doesn't). So when titans are given less exotics that require kills to activate...it's for a not too shabby reason. You wanna argue that warlocks have too many of the same type of exotics though and I'll definitely give you that one.

Cause its effects like restores your grenade instantly 6 times, and gives you 1/10 of your super, and regent your health to full immediately, and double the regent rate of all your abilities for 5 seconds.

Yassssss. It really seems that Bungie just doesn’t like the warlock class, so they put zero effort into them. That, or once the hunter population complains about something Bungie acts fast to please the 80% or player who play as the OP Hunters.
-
Which is why I don’t rely on exotics. I’ll use them here and there but they’re not my go-to choices. Eye of Another World and Ophidian Aspect are the only two I will lean on.

Because Vanilla Destiny 2 was trying to become the next Overwatch, and an e-sport. So the guy who was in charge of Weapon Design made ALL the bonus abilities from exotics have to be triggered rather than intrinsic. So they acted like Kill streaks in Call of Duty. A performance-based "power up". As for the Mantle of Battle Harmony, they are trying to put a cap on the power level of the exotic so that you don't get another situation like with Phoenix Protocol....and pre-nerf Skull of Dire Ahamkara. An exotic that is so overpowered that it becomes the only rational choice to use. Because---if they didn't do something like that----you'd basically be doubling down on the rate at which you get your super. You'd get super energy from the time.....super energy for the kill....then additional super energy (from the kill) because of the exotic. You'd wind up with an exotic that would be overpowered in PVE...and potentially gamebreaking in pvp.

1rst step of being a warlock main. Don’t whelp and whine about exotics. Step 2....beat down peasants in the crucible with top tree dawnblade And choAs reach Step 3 provide well of radiance for peaSents in end game pve. Step 3.. go ham in 6v6s with bastion with felwinters or bastion... Step 4..optional...help other warlocks in Gambit.

Awesome point!

As a Titan who has mained one of the “on kill” exotics since base D2 released, stop ya whining. This is a game about killing. Kill or be killed.
-
Don’t really understand the complaint here, most warlock exotics with an on kill effect are considered top tier pve, where getting kills is not really hard. Crown of tempests, nezarec’s sin, karnstein armlets, sunbracers, mantle of battle harmony, pheonix protocol, are all really good pve exotics, and as stated before, getting kills in pve isnt exactly hard. As for comparing uptimes, on kill effects have at least 75% uptime in pve, i really can’t understand what you’re trying to complain about here. So although the exotics have on kill effects, you are getting kills so often that it doesn’t really have too much downtime.

I like my exotics to be neutral game effective so I personally never noticed this. Very hard for me to break away from my Transversal Steps.
