I keep getting the same legendary trash 99% times

You use to not get dupes and when you did you got brightdust from them Obviously was removed to make money

Edited by LocalCrow: 4/17/2021 1:14:00 PMOpen your Engram.
2 old shaders and an old blue transmat effect.
Back in D1 when eververse started, you were able to get everything. That was when millions were still playing the game. Now that nobody is here but freebie free-to-play people, they changed it and monetized it. All their work now is on eververse. Lol. It shows. Game is empty and yet eververse have new stocks all the time. Over 500 employees and all they could come up with is eververse stocks. Lmao. Empty old loot with shiny store. I bought me a pair of sneakers last weekend. It's not digital. It's a real pair of sneakers that I can use in the real world. Lol. It's comfy and nice. I can show it off to everyone. In the real world. Not in Barbie land.

Every other engram I get is a dupe, it's so ridiculous. At least if bright dust was awarded for them they wouldn't feel so shitty.
-
They should have a guaranteed gift of bright dust say 100 to 150
-
Edited by Dopefriik: 4/16/2021 10:37:55 AMWhy couldn’t they sunset that s***. Just how many more crappy season 1 ships, sparrows and ghosts are there?! I swear they keep adding crap to stop me getting anything worthwhile. And why the hell do I only get an ornament when I turn in 10 engrams in one go?
-
This👆🤘
-
It’s cancer I know it, the community knows, my 15 imaginary friends who are betting on it know it.
-
I have a duplicate emote in my postmaster from 10 months ago. thought was impossible, now I own a museum piece.
-
The eververse is worse than it was in Y1
-
Pretty sure the only thing that isn’t dupe protected are sparrows and ships so I don’t really see a problem.
-
I'm still waiting for the Seven Sisters shader to pop up for bright dust. It's this seasons shader, and it hasn't once popped up. -_-
-
Honestly, there are still things I’d like to have and I got like a million of those engrams and it’s all garbage. Zero incentive to level up.
-
Edited by Olórin: 4/15/2021 10:09:17 AMThey could just place ornaments/old shaders/cosmetics as additional rewards for Lost Sectors, Exotic Ornaments drop on Legendary Lost Sectors. If the Lost Sector is (for example) a Helmet piece Exotic, then the Ornaments dropping for that Lost Sector are also Exotic Helmet Ornaments only.

I thought I heard bungie was going to add something like duplication protection in season 14 or 15
-
its because there AAA games producer. cheap servers loads of micro transactions. poor currency system where you have to buy more than you need. anything in the game for free like engrams have loads of duplicates or a massive grind to get. unfortunately Bungie aren't will to say there any different from EA or Activision or any of the other AAA games producers and just follow them.
-
LOL, you think you should be able to collect everything without paying for it? Bungie: Mmmwwwuhahaha
-
Delete it and get bright dust from it and then wait to buy what you want with the bright dust you accumulate over time. Wait you can’t do that anymore because bungie changed the eververse economy from its vanilla version. Well better go buy some silver and hope bungie has it where you can buy it. Yea not going to apologize for being an ass or sarcastic on this one. I was happy with vanilla eververse. Decrypts any eververse items I didn’t want get bright dust and save up. I could play the game level up get an eververse engram or 10 turn them in and decrypt what I didn’t want and could eventually buy what I wanted or be lazy buy silver get some engrams and do the same. You were given options when it came to eververse. But no took one of the options away and said you want something buy silver because bungie didn’t make the bright dust reward from bounties enough to get anything.
-
its there way of forcing us to buy shit with silver which is why the bright dust economy is bad, because the more bright dust someone has the more money they loose out on
-
Edited by TheShadow: 4/14/2021 6:54:34 PMYeah, they can do a huge favor by getting rid of Eververse and put the loot into the games activities where they belong. That's doing something right...
-
Not until there are so many players who spend on Eververse. It’s funny how the very same fanboys who spit on Activision for asking $40/year are those who blow on Eververse and give bungie all the excuses for being lazy and cash cowing with a $80/year ex-Eververse.
-
Edited by mxpxboy: 4/14/2021 10:14:07 PMI just wish I could get something good. All I ever get is common ghost shells, sparrows and ships from Season 1. Then when I've gotten everything from that season, the next Eververse engram gives me crap from Season 2. It's like it's just keeps filling in the gaps from what I didn't get over the years. It'd be nice if they would go back to the way it used to be and give us exotics more often.
-
What I love is constantly getting "new" sparrows, ships and ghost shells from seasons 1 through 4. Not a single grayed out item in any of those lists in my collections, yet every once in a while I get one that wasn't on any of the pages before.
-
Chances are you already have everything in the current bright engrams loot pool, the only things I’m aware that doesn’t have dupes are ornaments, emotes, and ghost projections. I’m pretty sure you can inspect a bright engram and should tell you what you have already and I’m sure it’s a small loot pool. Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong, I usually dismantle everything from those engrams.
-
Dismantle it and get bright dust. Eventually you'll be able to get whatever you want from eververse. Its always handy to have a lot of bright dust.
-
I think there are a few more issues with d2 than duplicate cosmetics you don't use anyway
