Seriosuly. Quickdraw and snapshot were a MUST on snipers. This game is so fast paced that a clunky, slow ADS speed PRECSION (i.e. not a shotgun) weapon with the highest zoom in the game has no place at all.
That is why people used those perks on snipers. Any sniper without one or the other got sharded, not becuas they're blatantly OP like in the case of high imapct shotties, but because they allowed them be keep up with the pace of the game and be aggressive. With the blanket nerf to quickdraw and no adjustments to base sniper handling, you just alienated every single sniper that can't run snapshot. That's a real shame. There are some really cool ones too. I've been in love with Far Future, but there's a chance it's just not gonna feel good at all next season.
And yeah. Weapons should have downsides. It promotes choice. With snipers, the choice is range or handling.
However, the base handling for snipers is so slow it makes the choice for the player. It is either handling perks or trash. Absolutely, positively trash.
It isn't "Do I want high handling or range?" It's quite literally "Do I want sniping to be bearable and fun or not?"
That's the problem. I'd like to see a base handling buff to snipers across the board, specifically 90 RPMs and 72 RPMs, so the choice isn't so obvious, and then carry on with the quickdraw nerf.
