Reduce the Slow Debuff. Please. And address the 120 RPM hand cannon hitbox.

Please reduce the affects of slow. Slow is the single largest frustration point and its debuffs weren't addressed in the patch note preview at all. Slow should not reduce weapon handling, stability, recoil, reload speed, accuracy, and movement abilities all at once. That is far too much. I get it. Stasis is literally about slowing down the battle. Let it do that in PvE to its fullest extent, but for the health of the game treat it differently in PvP. In PvP only, just straight up take away all weapon debuffs except handling and stability and just make it reduce the effectiveness of a movement abilities and jumps rather than suppressing them entirely. Please. That right there would make so much difference while still leaving stasis as a contender. On another note, reign in 120 RPM hand cannons. You shouldn't be able to aim for the crotch and get a crit (https://youtu.be/sjQbl8hz0Mc around the 2:40 mark).     • Eh, I rather perish to a 120 hc from 30 meters away, then by a Hunter weilding Felwinters and jumping around as if the floor was made of lava. Hunters jump too much.

                        Finally another player is admitting the fact I’ve been saying this entire season. I’m pretty sure it was Frostbolt or one of the other YouTube streamers demonstrate the ridiculous hitbox 120 hc’s have. This is why they outgun scout rifles so easily from across maps. So incredibly frustrating when at scout range your losing every fight to a hunter using steady hand or true prophecy and jumping and dodging while shooting and hitting all 3 crits shots while my scout has to hit the head dead on or it whiffs. If they shrunk the hitbox do n to around the head or same as a scout they would no longer be able to outgun a scout from far out range.

                          Slowing my movement speed? Fine. Taking away movement abilities? Alright I get it it, it makes sense. Completely taking away any ability I have to succeed in a gunfight due to an INSANE accuracy debuff? That's absolutely unacceptable and incredibly stupid. You might as well just freeze me. I'd honestly prefer it at that point. Theres absolutely no reason for that at all. Hindering all forms of movement is enough of a penalty and any decent player should be able to get a kill off of it. The accuracy debuff just renders you completely useless and completely at the mercy of rng. It doesn't make sense. It's gotten to the point where if I'm pulled into a dusk field, I dont even fight back if im already under fire cause there's no use. It's like firing a hand cannon in d1 but way worse. Every single shot ghosts due to the accuracy cone being huge when slowed. It NEEDS to go.

                              More on the topic of Stasis, after quicky getting acquainted with its strengths, I've thought of 3 changes to make to how it affects players: [spoiler]1. Remove the accuracy penalty. Similarly to you, I'd rather it not completely take away your ability to move in such a drastic way. But I think the devs would(unfortunately) rather wait longer to observe to see if they should lessen/remove those effects, thinking that the Slowed status wouldn't be powerful enough to warrant usage of Stasis in PvP. So at the [b][i]very least[/i][/b], I think they could do away with the accuracy penalty against players. I'm pretty sure that not even Hunter Smoke Bombs induce that many debuffs onto players. 2. Implement a cooldown on being frozen. Assuming you somehow don't die after being frozen, add a temporary buff that prevents it from happening again for say 3-5 seconds. There have been many times I've been frozen by a Duskfield, broken out, and then been unable to get out of it in time to prevent being frozen again. Or just been frozen by a myriad of abilities, broken out/let the timer run, only to get quickly frozen again and die. 3. Shorten the animation of breaking out. I think you should be encouraged to want to break out in situations where danger's nearby in an attempt to fight back and defend yourself, even at the cost of some health for doing so. But currently, the animation takes so long that it's arguably better to just let the timer run out instead when frozen by anything other than Coldsnaps or the Warlock charged melee.[/spoiler] On the topic of Hand Cannons, 120s could definitely use a more severe damage dropoff, and though I'm not necessarily advocating for it, I wouldn't mind seeing the aim assist brought down on the ones with very high amounts. [spoiler]For instance, something like Spare Rations(though I know it's sunset and no longer obtainable) has about 92 [b]base[/b] aim assist, give or take 1. I think the most a HC should really ever have is around 70 at base, and even that's probably too generous for most people.[/spoiler]

                              • Nothing is wrong with 120s. Almost everyone has the new trials handy now, and it's very obvious who win traded and who earned it. You still have to aim. As long as Hand Cannons remain meta, everything will be right in the universe.

                                  Feels 120s would be completely fine range-wise even if max range stat (stat around 85-90) rolls capped at 40 meter effective 3-tap range, then rangefinder would do what it does and boost that to around 44-45 meters with those rolls. This'd be a blanket 5 meter nerf to the current effective ranges and still leave 120s plenty room to operate above the regular 140 effective ranges (around 33 meters on max range rolls, up to around 38 with rangefinder). And yeh, the huge head hitbox coupled with the fact you can 2h1b (only 66% crit accuracy required) means the skill floor basically starts at ground level. It doesnt exist. (Not to mention it's 1h2b below 5 resilience. 33% crit accuracy required for the optimal ttk.) 3h0b would be too unforgiving with the rpm and ttk as is, so tuning the hitbox down instead would make sense as a targeted nerf to the overabundant forgiveness and ease-of-use.

                                    Don't know abt a range nerf but maybe a damage nerf so they 2 crit 1 body all resciliences? Or maybe reduce the magnetism and range because that's what's making them so easy to use rn.
