That is all I need to know how screwed up it is already. Somethings should be lifted alone but some people that work for this company have this illusion that "they can fix it and make it better", and so far the last 4 years they have only made matters worse.

2 RepliesNo chance whatsoever that Bungie don't somehow completey mess up VoG. It was designed for D1, built around D1 gunplay / difficulty. I hope I'm wrong but I'm 99% certain that D2 VoG - like D2 since beta - will be awful. The talent has gone, even copying the work of others is beyond the current lot.

Now you've said that, they'll probably turn him into a super champion where first you have to stop him with unstoppable rounds, then break his shield with barrier rounds, then stun him with overload rounds, and when you finished that you get a full 3 secs of dps...if he doesn't teleport away of course...then it's just rinse and repeat, enjoy.

Like a 1-time deal just for giggles, it would certainly show that Bungie can laugh at itself while giving us a huge fun time.

I just prefer OG VOG than using a [b][u]forced loadout[/u][/b] because Bungie cannot think of any new interesting types of enemies or fight mechanics. That’s all. Never said they were hard. 7 RepliesYou're dreaming of D1's VoG, the D2's VoG you'll play would be not the same, sure it will match the textures and themes of the D1 version but won't feature its magic. Phantasy Lord Luke Smithers already admitted in an enterview(or was it a reveal stream idk) he was thinking back then of how enjoyable your D2's VoG experience will be with Champion Pretorians and other sweeties his mind was mentally PP training on 😊 All there is now are D1's VoG memories of those raid runs we had ✨

Plus by 2021 standards, it's quite basic. Not too mention we just came off of a year of Garden of Salvation, AKA Vault of Grass that some say is a reworked version of the VoG beta. I mean the boss was Michael Bay version of Atheon, aka Michael Batheon. I have fond memories of that raid, but at this point, it's 7 years old and already been redone once before. It's not old enough to be nostalgic rly and bringing it back once before makes that a little worse. I literally have no interest unless it's totally revamped and DIFFERENT with a new loot pool. You can't complain about sunsetting and recycled content and in the same breath be hype about VoG. It's the definition of being indecisive and hypocritical.
