NERF ARBALEST
Do you seriously think Arbalest is balanced? I cant believe that Arba's 100 aim assist and no flinch is still ok. Do you even play comp anymore?!
Since you nerfed snipers everyone is using Arba.
Stop designing stoopid dj meme's and focus on things that matter. Like proper Gun to Gun PvP. I have been playing since beta. Sunsetting and your lack of understanding even basics (like Arba still not getting a Nerf) shows that your test group is not up to its task.

I agree. Enough said. Those that dont know what a crap show it is making snipers obsolete which revoker used to compete against it. Now its a game of just using what destiny forces you too versus a balance of choice and equal time to kill weapons. WTF bungie

Blatant simplemindedness dictates "Shotguns are the most used archetype or op crutches a shotgun/hc loadout so why should this post be taken serious?", when we've all been scoped by that one Arbalest user that did 3 backflips, slid down some stairs, 360 rotated their reticle into the floor before they tagged you for that headshot. That gun is something else and could use a little looking at.

It is incredibly easy though the real problem isn’t the gun but the peer to peer servers which let it shoot you through walls or around the head giving people the kill either way.

1 ReplyI agree Bungie needs to nerf everything! If the weapon can kill me in comp it needs to be disabled. In Competitive PvP each guardian should wield a stick (Same length & weight). No abilities because obviously the subclass I don’t use is way too OP compared to mine. Also, no jumping or movement, we stand 2 feet apart and whoever swings the stick faster wins! That’s how you balance PvP

A good sniper shuts down a good arbalest player every time from what I’ve seen And when you’re playing against them, you have to treat them like good bow or sniper users and keep your dome covered lol

That gun is COMPLETELY busted go up against a 2.0 overall KD person in trials with arb and tell me that gun ain’t busted. Should you nerf it into the ground no. But to sit here and act like arb is in a good place is mind blowing to me. Just reduce aim assist and give it a little flinch is all I ask.

2 RepliesDo you use arbalist? Cause it does have flinch and requires some skill, however when paired with armor mods it becomes extremely forgiving. That being said, its less dangerous than a sniper since it cant do quick follow up shots, has an aim assist range of 30-40 meters (meaning it's much less forgiving at long range) and has a charge time before shooting. Best advice is dont stand in open areas, dont rush with a shotgun, if you do cross a sniper lane be sporadic with your movements and play smart. If you follow these you won't die as much from arbalist or snipers.

1 ReplyFelwinter's accounts for nearly four times more kills than Arbalest in Trials(trials.report). It also gets used more than four times as much as Arbalest in comp (destinytracker.com). Adored had more kills than Arbalest and is also used more often (same two websites). I'm just playing devil's advocate, if I'm a Bungie employee working on sandbox balance Arbalest isn't the #1 gun on my radar right now.
