Does bungie even play test their own game?
You over nerfed warlocks stasis only to buff them again, and now you “nerfed” shatter dive which can still kill full health guardians in super. Unless your using behemoth titan... which again leads me to my question, does bungie even play test their own game? How do things like this go unnoticed lol

1 ReplyMost of the time, play testers mainly ensure that that the game is playable and there are no major bugs. Balancing stuff like weapons, supers, etc. Comes from collecting data and stats over a period of time.

Their tests are quite comprehensive. Basically they launch the game and make sure the store functions for silver purchases, patch passed. Then they hand it over to the beta testers, the public.

They give us the privilege of paying them money to test their games. It’s amazing.

After all, they've got to come with activities for future Seasons, program those activities, come up with new weapons and armor to replace the weapons and armor being Sunset at the end of every Season, and program those weapons and armor into the game. Making the game revolve completely around this Seasonal model has killed any quality assurance that goes into this game.

4 RepliesThis is bungies philosophy. They introduced statsis specifically to SELL beyond light. This was their plan ALL along. They’ve made millions on this alone, knowing they put very little work in game. They can continue to do this a still rack up millions. They don’t have to try because they already have MORE then enough people buying the expansions. They force an artificial meta each season to force players to change load outs to compete. This seasons meta was made ON PURPOSE. They’re not risking losing money by gutting stasis. It’s the ONLY selling point for beyond light.
