Bungie, please bump up Nightall matchmaking to at least legend!
I know a lot of asks lately are long term problems that will be fixed with patience, but can we please get Nightfall matchmaking a little higher than just hero? Sure, lock it within reason until lvl scales to it, but c'mon theres no reason we cant have it bumped up... Honestly, just matser/GM should be premades

17 RepliesEverything should have matchmaking. Just make it optional and move on. There is no valid reason to be against something that is completely optional. Don't like it? Don't use it. Players will get matched with blueberries who suck? Not your concern.

It has no effect on you or your game sessions. None. Just because we're comfortable with using this app or other LFG sites to try and group up with people doesn't mean everybody else is. It's about having something for everybody. I shouldn't have to -blam!-ing explain this to grown men and women.

IMO, they should add matchmaking by default to all activities and difficulties with the option to disable matchmaking. They can then add a minimum power cap to speciffic difficulties like they do on certain activities.

1 ReplyIt’s a super simple fix. All they have to do is have the [u]option[/u] to matchmake or not. Shuts everybody up and let’s you play your way. Doesn’t hurt anyone.

Yo, I'm from a different timeline. In my timeline bungie already did that, people are only brutally raging how stupid randoms in legend nightfalls are. I like your timeline better.

1 ReplyThe Game has 2 problems when it is about matchmaking: - no built in ingame LFG - bad introductions to new mechanics and activities Anybody remembers their 1st Game of Gambit? Beeing in a real Game while there is a comment from the off explaining a few things? Laughable and no wonder why so many do not get basic stuff. To make people ready for high Tier Nightfalls, give them a solo introduction quest they have to pass. Like learning basic stuff such as different shields, elemental explosions, that there is always at least one safe spot no matter in which combat area you are in. And good Lord, introduce the champions one by one and explain that you need mods combined with certain weapons to even stand a chance. And to be honest, it would not hurt to display the majority of shields used in NF other than expecting everybody to know each enemy type or NF in and out.

Yeah because the score modifier is way too low on hero to get 100k,no matter how efficient your team is Sure there will be trolls,or people without champion mods,but atleast you have a chance -
3 RepliesEverything should have matchmaking. All strikes all nightfalls everything. It’s too hard to find groups. I’ve been playing since D1 and I’ve not been able to complete one raid due to the challenge of finding a group. When I played DC universe online I’d find raid groups and new friends through random matchmaking. Just imagine the Hawkmoon quest why not offer matchmaking. Same with trials.

Not that the worst actors in the community should always dictate the way Destiny's made...but that would really suck. 1 ReplyI would say it’s worth a shot, but keep 1 IMPORTANT thing in mind.... People who use lfg now for high level content, like me, will STILL use lfg, because we’ re more likely to get better results for our time. Don’t expect to win from ransoms who may not have been set up beforehand. The BIGGEST hurdle to this will be locked loadouts.

5 RepliesTotally agree!!! Its so frustrating that we can't matchmake a majority of the activities in the game. For me I wish that included dungeons, legend night falls, and Master empire hunts. Especially since guided games is a failed experiment and the matchmaking app is complete trash at the moment.

Bunyon are still living in the past. Like in the 80's. So "Out of Touch" - by Hall and Oates in '84. Here are some examples. Community asks for replayable content. Bunyon brings back D1 content to D2 so you can replay it. That's their idea of replayable content. 😂 Community is disappointed with sunsetting. Bunyon gives them Gilds. They said that's what you all wanted. 😂 Now you are asking for Matchmaking in Legend Nightfalls. I'm expecting Bunyon will bring in Mario and Luigi to save the Princess in a Nightfall Strike. 😂 Cue music by Hall and Oates! 🎵You're Out of Touch🎶

This should have been a no-brainer giving the fact that they added items to masterwork. IMO this company needs to spend more time looking to keep players engaged to where they want to play more so than looking to force play. I don't get the logic of looking to stretch content out when the simple solution is to actually create replayable content and giving access to more activities to where players would actually play more often than not. There are way too many limits in this game that it's driving players away, and as far as I know a business uselessly like making money right, so why drive players away by limiting way too many things in this game?

As an option then yes, if it's forced then no I've seen people in the 1220's using the wrong mods and the wrong burns and even sometimes when I'm doing 1280's with randoms who don't have mic's going in with the wrong mods/burns

They also should not let players launch it without the necessary mods on, nothing worse than someone not running unstoppable or anti barrier and expecting the others to do all the work.

No, legend too. This comes about toward the end of every single season once enough people are high enough light where 1250s are a breeze. You aren’t going to just match make for the +2 pinnacle. You don’t match make for any of the other ones, and this one would not be the exception. It’s locked loadouts, so that won’t work with matchmaking and champions/match game. The answer to this “well just alter the matchmaking” is asking bungie to do even more work when you can just, you know, make a team on the LFG platform they already provide. This won’t happen.
