If Ghosts can resurrect anyone, from any time...
Then shouldn't there be some guardians who died in Medival times, or other old time periods? Would they keep the same manner of speaking they had? Imagine a guardian who addresses lightless citizens as peasants!

4 RepliesSpeech is influenced by people around you, they would probably speak that way for a while (even amnesia cant make you forget the most basic things like speech and simple survival instincts) Simple Psychology, not saying anything mean by it but its a basic in it that people are shaped bu their environment constantly

How would we know? Guardians have no memory, though we can speak and understand language so you could listen to the way they speak and deduce their time of origin.

Shaxx could be from an older time period since he eats haggis which probably was too common during the golden age or even modern times. I imagine that Osiris is ment to be an ancient Egyptian. As far as reviving other guardians, its hinted at that Shin malphure died as a baby then was resurrected by a ghost before it sacrificed itself to save a group of pilgrims. Later Shin malphure would inherit the ghost of his mentor Jaren ward

10 RepliesMight be possible, if ghost just needs dna. There is dna in everything that touches a person. Even poop has dna, so might be possible to resurrect from a piece of fossilized poop.

1 ReplyIt's a interesting concept to think about It's not exactly known how much of the remains must be in tact for a Ghost to revive a a human/awoken, so unless Ghosts can literally revive a person from 12 thousand year old dust it's unlikely However it's still possible Although Guardians do loose all their memories from their first life so if there was actually a medieval age Guardian he/she/they wouldn't call people peasant Unfortunately

I think the ghosts can only resurrect people from the time when the Traveler showed up. Don’t quote me cause it’s just a hypothesis. The Traveler shows up and humans become exposed to the Light. Some have such a strong connection that there is a residual energy signature, meaning that they can wield the Light.
