Long time fan, might change
I've been a huge fan of bungie since the first halo. Purchased every game and DLC. Bought destiny, and every DLC while I was capable of playing. This isn't the first time you've taken a dump on the story though. Halo 2 story was subpar, and halo reach crapped on the official story already set. But with beyond light, you've entirely erased two years worth of playable story. So far as I know, its now impossible to relive the fight with Gaul or board the leviathan. The best story you've told with destiny was forsaken, and now its gone. Bring it back

1 ReplyI wouldn't compare any other titles here but I know Destiny is not going up in popularity as of now. In D1, I had 500+ friends playing destiny. Now I hardly see 5. Clans are dissolving again and chat groups are going silent. Where there was a queue of guardians in chat groups to get the raid done with sherpa, now there aren't enough players to start a raid. Things have changed and eventually all groups will change. Bungie, for once, just admit that it's not us, it's you who is the problem.

I've also been playing Bungie games since Halo CE. Why do people always need to flex how long they play, lol. I'm not going anywhere. I don't care about story, I just like to shoot stuff.

11 RepliesHi. Someone who has played every halo since combat evolved and still owns every original copy. Halo 2s story was subpar. Halo Reach crapper on the story already set... Ok. What in the Holy crap. Halo 2 is arguably one of the best halo campaigns to have ever been created. Halo Reach didn't shit on the already established story, it actually added to the story and flushed out halo CEs story by being the prequel to that story and finding out why the pillar of autumn was running in the first place. I have one very simple question. Are you mad?!

Bungie is just the developer that should be so much better than they are. I can only speak from pvp experiences with Halo, But H1, H2, and H3 were some of the best pvp experiences ever. Then they absolutely destroyed Halo with reaches pvp (bloom killed halo at that time) and Halo never recovered or been the same since. Destiny to me will always be the game that was really good, but it should have been great, should have been the best fps game ever. It could have been, but it isn't and it won't be. Its a shame.
