Last season, 8 weeks on 3 characters for one power weapon 1060...
Current season, 3 weeks and 3 characters, no drop for one 1260...
Not worth the time waste this time round..
Fooled way too many time.... DooM

lol, umbra's are back! This company is clueless!
-
I've gone three weeks having capped everything but a Warlock Bond at 1260, and I still for the love of me don't understand the RNG system this game has. I have double, triple, and even quad 1260 pieces in all sorts of different spots, but literally cannot get one for a class item. I've tried rotating the lure, but I for the love of me could not get it to reset to a class item. I've given up on it. I mean in two weeks I'll get blues dropping at a light level higher then the gear I have on now. I really REALLY hope that bungie re-evaluates this method, and goes to a alternate leveling system.

Althoug I despise Bungie for this move but they remind me of another hated sales manager (who owns mansions and yachts btw) I used to work with. His philosophy was that existing accounts (customers) are more trouble to maintain and its easier to sell BS to sign up new customer even if it costs old customers. This philosophy worked well for few years and company stock rose 350% in 4-5 years. Now they are falling rapidly (of course partly due to pandemic crisis) because new customers have found out what happened with old customers for an expensive product that costs high 6 figures for annual licence. Bungie will milk this as long as it can until they ate bathing in gold like Calus! Make no mistake, they don't give a sh1t about you once you have paid for any content. Their focus is new customers and not d1 or d2 veterans.
-
Bungie listens to the top 10% of the active player base and the bottom 10%. Everyone inbetween who's not a "content creator" or a new player is ignored or patronized. The end.
-
Why are you chasing the hard cap? Went around 1275 with artifact to complete some of the harder content but never chased pinnacles.
-
why are you even caring for a useless number ?
-
I’ve payed for destiny right from D1 I feel bungie doesn’t want us anymore only out money. Seems so much in game I’d broken. Sunsetting for me was really the end for me. Taking all those pinnacles of me I worked so hard for. They say you can still use them but really no one does . I deleted everything only got rerelease of gunsight deleted that was a kick in the teeth. To hear re rolled weapons are coming back I’m not impressed or going to grind those again. Sunsetting wasn’t supposed to be like this.

Edited by Phyromancer: 1/21/2021 4:04:24 AMPinnacle power is the worst it's been. It's the end of the season. And if you haven't reached that cap yet, then it's pointless. Don't even bother. It's a trick to keep you on the Hamster Wheel. The scheme that they were trying to perfect ever since. You see, if you've been playing from the start. You'll remember that they've revamped the power system so many times I could not even remember how many times they've changed it. Now, with the seasonal scheme they've added since ShallowKeep, pinnacle cap has become obsolete over time. RNG is so bad you get duplicates 4 weeks in a row, and the only thing you need doesn't show up. And by the time you realized it, you're on the last week of the season and next week you start all over again. If you don't open your eyes and not realize that you are just a Hamster in a Wheel, you'll end up wondering exactly what this is all about. Welp. Hamster Wheel for one thing, and that leads to Money as you keep running and throwing it at the screen over and over as the years go by. The same goal as sunsetting. You grind over and over for months every season, months turns to years. What do you get? You get throwing money at the screen. Anything they do now leads to only you throwing money at the screen. Season after season, that will go on for years. Carrot and Hamsters. They're getting better at it, milking your money that is. 😂 Your move!

Edited by franram: 1/21/2021 12:11:28 AMBungie: We hear your feedback, and in season 13 we will be nerfing fusion rifles.

push away is an understatement they literally shinra tensei us into a different game
-
They got their money they dont need you anymore.

Edited by CookieNiki: 1/21/2021 9:22:20 PMEverything in this game is designed to artificially extend the play time. The game is rigged and stuffed with tricks and errands to achieve that. That's how Bungie make their 1 inch deep content work when it's spread 3 miles wide. Now add to that the pitiful sunsetting scheme and what's left in this game that's worthy of our free time? If anything, the only upside is the gunplay but that's not enough to keep the interest in playing this game more than a couple of hours per week.

I agree with the title but the whole "progression take time me no like" i can't agree with honestly I loved harder D1 progression because it actually felt good and rewarding to get past forever 29 back in the day now i think most couldn't care less about their level.
-
They know. They aren’t worried about it.
-
Focusing too much on gear score and gear stats can become pretty frustrating... I still haven't gotten a single 1260 secondary weapon... its a bit of a miff but i don't really worry too much about it Like another Guardian said, the only content that requires super good gear is GrandMaster Nightfalls... and they lock your gear score at 1275 anyways.. Just Have fun with the Gameplay, the loot is an added little bonus, try not to make it your main priority... Best Wishes Guardian 🤗

grind to max gear is rigged the rng is set up to keep you coming back time after time unless you are lucky. iv been waiting for titan mark for 3 weeks now. im at the point i dont put any effort in to pinnacle events has i know il be screwed over.pinnacles are a waste of time, grinding out the same sunsetted s%$t is a waste of time, seasonal events are a waste of time,
-
That's weird. This season I reached pinnacle cap with just the soloable pinnacles. Don't get me wrong, I usually don't. However, the system feels better than it was. Only reason I even care is to do the 1280 stuff for the triumphs. Then again, I play for fun and only when I feel like it. Why do you play?
-
Let me ask you this. What is the practical difference between being 1259 and 1260? Not worth being frustrated. Also, if you want to hit the Pinnacle Cap, you might want to do a raid...
-
Yea man its the repetitive content. The weekly grind for 3 more strike completions and a 40 minute easy raid. It just sucks.
-
I want a Prius
-
Adding to that guys: Bungie in PVP doesn’t do anything to cheaters... Poor quality and lack of balance on the system.
-
I think there is very little to actually add to this game, however if they removed Fellwinters I don’t think I’d miss it. One day I’ll sneak into the Bungie office, log in as God Mode Admin and delete all players with it equipped. I will. You have been warned.
-
No they don't, stop hating on bungie. They know more than you, maybe you should go and play fortnite.
-
Agreed BUNGIE is pushing loyal players away from the game. they have a really poor LFG service and then let paid service post in their fourms. Its like there not mods here unless you shame or label people.
-
Bungie is not, “pushing” anyone away. Bungie is giving you exactly what you have paid for. Bungie has a significant history of producing lackluster and mediocre content. The fault lies with all, including myself, who continue to support this game. If you want to find the problem, look in the mirror. Bungie does not have to even attempt to exceed expectations when the community accepts mediocrity. Accept mediocrity, receive mediocrity.
