Instead of Sunsetting and Reissuing How About Focusing on the STORY and giving us new stuff?

Bungie, you guys started out so good in D1. We had a story that, while it had a bumpy start, began to present itself to us. We could grind for weapons and armor that followed along with it and, as it progressed, so did we. We felt part of the world you'd created and fulfilled by doing the missions and raids. It all went together. Now, it's just a jumbled mess of imbalanced PvP with rampant cheating, a messy and lackluster storyline that most players only learn about if they go outside the game to follow along, armor, weapons, and inventory items taken away or capped that we'd worked hard for and meant something to us, then reissued, reskinned, repeat weapons and armor that you just took away and are now making us regrind for. The strikes and destination quests now offer us no substantial or new reward for our time and effort, and the storyline feels as if it has stalled or is, at most, creeping along painfully slow. Many of us are constantly left with nothing to do because of timegated stuff as opposed to completion unlocking, or things we can't do because of requirements we can't meet and no alternatives to them. There's nothing to look forward to most of the time because things are so brief with little to no challenge where we'd expect one, or it's for stuff we already have and are tired of grinding for over and over and over again. Don't reskin stuff. Don't reissue stuff. Stop making us do the same things over and over again. With all the money you've sucked out of people with that horrid Eververse, you should be more than able to create new weapons, new destinations, new raids, new crucible, and new strikes. Give us new maps to explore and enjoy, too. And give us back a cohesive story that's not leaving out key characters we haven't seen in ages but you know, if this story were put together properly, would have been part of the ongoing storyline and had an impact on our Guardian. And stop making everything require master and grandmaster completion in a fireteam to get a reward or triumph. Make it all challenging, yes, but not every one of your players prefers to join a fireteam or they might not have the time to commit or get together with one. Create challenging alternatives for your solo and casual players so they, too, have a chance to earn rewards.
