Didn't receive exotic chyper after completing Xur's quest, I already had one.

I had a chyper in my inventory and thought that if I got another one from Xur it would be delivered to Kadi at the Tower. Could someone tell me if I just lost it or it was delivered somewhere else?

You can only carry a single cypher at a time. Any extra cyphers will be immediately destroyed.
