Subclass balancing has been a problem in PVP ever since the introduction of stasis, and Bungie hasn't done a really good job of fixing it. This game used to be the best shooter game that everyone enjoyed, and everyone was excited for Beyond Light because we loved this game. However, Stasis, the new subclass that was supposed to be a new and exciting thing, is now a trigger for tilt in PVP. My friend are considering on quitting Destiny 2 for good. Stasis is in need of a major change.
One personal suggestion is to have subclass restraint. Destiny 2 feels like a MMO more and more, with necrotic grip and thorn being able to work together to form a great build. So, there should be a system that lets different elements, like Solar, to work better against other elements, like Stasis. There are many different ways to achieve that, like having less break out time on a Solar subclass. This way the other subclasses could receive some more play in Crucible and don't trigger everyone else playing.
This is the way that could help players finally enjoy the game instead of having a mental breakdown every time they go into PVP for any sort of reason. There are also many other balancing issues that are in the game, but Stasis is the biggest one that PVP players face in Beyond Light.
