I don't know about you guys but I'm tired of the current loot in Iron Banner. This used to be a part of the game that was fun and challenging to play and the challenge was worth it because of the loot. Lord Saladin used to only have one set of armor and weapons per season and that was it. Now when I go to turn in his tokens we can get almost anything that was in the previous the loot pool, and that's a problem if all I want is say the new scout rifle or hand cannon. But instead, I'm getting auto rifles, rocket launchers, grenade launchers, etc. I understand that it can be a bit difficult to create new weapons and armor for each season, but I had a thought. All the other vendors sell armor or why doesn't Lord Saladin? Considering that Iron Banner can be a bit of a grind, maybe give us a little more tokens and let Lord Saladin sell armor with mid to high stat rolls that we can farm looking for those perfect stats. Honestly I'd be more likely to actually turn in the tokens if i know i was getting something worth while. I'm currently sitting on 1,700+ Iron Banner Tokens because I'm tired of the same crap. Bungie, obviously some of us veteran players are committed to the grind since we're still here and we haven't dipped out. Maybe some of us have had to take a step back from time to time but we're still here because we love this game. And don't let him sell just armor, but maybe add in a few of the old shaders that were in the earlier seasons and bring back some of the shaders from D1 too. And since Bungie is starting to bring back D1 content why not some of the old armor sets in the form of ornaments. I miss some of those old armor sets, I loved how during the Iron Banner our tower was filled with what looked like medieval space knights. And I can't forget about the Rise of Iron armor with the flames, that was by far my favorite. I bet the new players don't even know it but the Iron Banner armor sets are the only sets that will allow you to equip the only ornament set we've ever received from the game and if you weren't playing early on you missed out. Not to mention if you didn't finish the questline you didn't complete the ornament set. This was the case for most seasons, but now they're selling all the old armor ornaments in Eververse and they could do the same for Lord Saladin but they don't. I get that it was just one set and it's not much of a point but It would be nice to have the complete set. I for one was on vacation and I started the quest late so I'm missing the chest armor to that set. If we brought back some of the old armor sets as ornaments and recycled some of the old shaders from D1 it would give us "new" loot to chase. And since they've started doing this a bit with weapons it shouldn't be too hard to do with some of the cosmetic items. I would love to see all the old Iron Banner weapons come back at some stage but it seems unlikely and I'm sure it's not a very popular opinion to constantly have recycled gear. But it would give us a bit of a change from what we have now. In short If we could have one set of weapons and one set of armor that's being awarded per season that would be great. I know we want new players to expirence the old guns that us veteran players have, but it could be rotated, circle back to it at a later season instead of keeping it in the giant loot pool that is Lord Saladin's Engram. I love the Iron Banner quests and bounties but as soon as I'm done I have my pinicals and I don't even want to deal with the headach that is the engram.
