The Pinnacle Kiosk Is Dumb
Strikes still exist. Gambit still exists. Survival still exists. But apparently the quests for the pinnacle weapons do not... why is that?
I worked quite hard for my not forgotten. I love Loaded Question, I like Breakneck. In fact I obtained [i]all[/i] the seasons in which they came out. I got mountaintop before the quest nerf.
But now, anyone can be the proud owner of the above weapons for the low price of a few thousand glimmer and some upgrade materials.
That isn’t really fair. But you know what is fair? Locking out players from obtaining non-sunset meta special weapons that were only available during a brief community event during an unpopular season.
Take out the kiosk or give access to all past quest weapons that can no longer be obtained. Tired of getting killed by weapons that I cannot obtain.

2 RepliesMaybe Bungie will release felwinters to the kiosk, when it reaches its sunset limit like all of the pinnacles currently in the kiosk. Have some patience and drop the childish elitism. Your reward for doing the quests was using the weapons before they were sunset and the same is true for those that did grind out the quest for felwinters in the season when you couldn’t be bothered. The kiosk giving access to all former pinnacle or quest weapons, after they are sunset, is just fine. It gives access to players that took breaks, newer players that may not have had a chance, or people that couldn’t be bothered because they lacked skill or simply enjoy other parts of the game more. The only thing it hurts are the fragile egos of children and the childish. It’s a video game, get over it.

Agreed, somewhat. Everyone who worked hard as shit to get those weapons should have gotten like an exotic version of those weapons right off the bat, an emblem showing they got it within a certain point in time, and or an exclusive emote. Everyone else should have had to do a quest to unlock the legendary and then exotic versions....the exotic versions being the strongest. That way everyone can have it, but those who went through hell to get those items have something(s) to show for it. But I know that still wouldn’t be cool with a lot of players. But these weapons are part of the reason for sunsetting weapons. ....idk

If people want to buy a gun that is an uninfusable husk of what it once was, they can go for it. Joke is on them. It has been nothing but a valueless trophy weapon since shadowkeep anyway, the quest of obtaining the gun and the gun itself have not been special for a long time now. If you got not forgotten before shadowkeep you have memories and stories to tell. The journey to get the gun was long and the payout was infinitey worth it. If you got it anytime after you got an extremely watered down quest with an extremely watered down gun to go with it. So again, joke is on them.

I worked really hard to get from spawn to get to the kiosk and bought the not forgotten just because i can. Man pffff i’m tired from it. Maybe after a week rest i can go back and buy another one. It depends 🤔

I agree Felwinters should be obtainable from the kiosk, but I disagree with everything else you said. I have every Pinnacle/Ritual weapon (and Felwinters😉) and I’m fine with the kiosk.

Just because you sweated to get your precious pinnacle weapon you think no one else should get it. Gaming should be inclusive not exclusive. I've got all the Gambit and Vanguard pinnacles and relics so I know what was involved in getting those pinnacles. I don't and never will object to anyone else getting them just by buying them.

In a video game where things don't ultimately matter, I'm okay with that. My non-PvP friends finally get to experience the awesome might of Mountaintop and Recluse while running strikes during Void burn.

We all (that been around since forsaken) bust our butts for those weapons, before they became easier and nerfed. I have no problem with the kiosk. I'm not a raider, so getting a raid weapon is in my line of sight. I deleted all the weapons that's outdated. Look towards the future. Felwinters Crutch, I wish I could give it away to others. I deleted the gun as soon as I got it.

I enjoyed mountain top for 2 years, if someone buys it now, then meh whatever. 🤷♂️ P.s felwinters is cool, you should totally have earned it when u had the chance 🤣

Its all right that you can buy em now, I just wish they'd change the icon on them to differentiate the items achieved vs purchased. Keeps the cool factor for em a little. This has to be substantially easier than reskinning old 'beloved' weapons into new 'adored' versions....
