I cant stop watching people complaining about PVP ruining the PVE in the game, and to be honest... they are kinda right most of the time.
So, why not maping the content more specifically to one or other activity, regarding what most of the time is breaking the game; Exotics.
Why not developing exotic armors and weapons specifically for one or the other activity? And I mean, 100%, not like it is now: "This is more useful for PVP than PVE, and viceversa". This way you can do (or I guess so) more activity focused gear, because it will not break the other thing (like Stasis is doing on PVP with the ease to freeze), or like other weapons or armor pieces were doing in the past (Felwinter's Helmet, Wormgod Caress, One Eye Mask, Telesto...).
If you think about it, you can even adress this to weapon mods, totally separating ones of the others, making it able to design better ones, as you don't have to guess how to make one work on each gamestyle. Si yeah, you have to create stuff (= work) but its easier to create (easier work).
Of course there is things to work in, but I see it as a step in the right direction. Normally you see PVP and PVE comunities more split than together. And its something you just can fix, because its all about skill and joy playing. Most people doesnt find fun to get stomped by PVP masters, thats why they play PVE, they can handle it, and its not another person humiliating them. And that is everyday's bread.
What are your thinkings, guardians?
