title. and i want to know hoq bad is power grind on classes 2 and 3
-
Don't bother making a new character. Do it unless you want to play hunter or warlock. Invest your time on your favorite character. It will go faster to level up if you use all three characters every week. But do you have time to waste.
-
Create another character but put your highest level weapons on it and go to xur to get the exotic armour for the character you want them go on the character put it all on then claim 1 piece of the season pass armour equip then claim another piece equip and repeat. That 2nd character will be close to your main within 15 minutes

The game is definitely better played with all three. It gives you the chance to see how "the other half" lives. For example, if you didn't main a Titan, the first time you shoulder charge someone in PvP, or discover the sheer joy of Actium War Rig paired with Sweet Business, Heir Apparent, or Xenophage in PvE, is awesome. The same goes with the other classes. They are different enough that using each is a unique experience. As for power levelling, your first character is the hardest to level. Your second and third inherit your high level weapons from your first character, so they level up much faster, making activities easier the second and third time around.

I say create the other two... Let the powers of the season pass armor dictate. That is what I do. Since armor is beyond stupid to get a good build out of, I let the season pass armor dictate if I stay on my titan or play another class... sad part is, my titan build sunsets next season and I am not sure if will pay $10 for the horrible chance at a good armor build. :/
title. and i want to know hoq bad is power grind on classes 2 and 3
I main a titan yet use the other two classes as well and I can tell you from experience that it's more fun when you mix up the styles and ways you can play, it makes it really interesting moving from titan to a hunter or warlock and you need to adjust the way you play, hell you can even bring over some of the ways you play as a titan and hunter over to a Warlock and etc, etc. So I would go for it and make the two new classes. (Also it's really fun making a character again.)

Power grind is easy with 3 characters. About to start pinnacles on my main, and they will be 1260 drops.

Edited by PsychosisHero: 12/5/2020 1:50:49 AMDepends if you're okay going through the story twice more. I use to level all 3 characters through d1 and a good portion of D2. I miss my warlock. Really fun but ultimately mostly time-consuming. At least for me.
-
Its all the stasis grind to max out your super....that was really tedious. Just can't do it again so I'm only going one character .

Make a hunter
-
All depends on how much you can play. If you get to play a lot, play all 3. If you dont, play one, All 3 is an advantage in many ways. Mostly in the power level chase. But the story shit was boring the first time. Running it 3 times is miserable. Play the way you like. I hope bungie will remove the advantage and need of running all three. Make PL acct wide and leave leveling to our classes. Would be gold.
-
definetly make 3 characters, one of every class
-
The thing with running multiple characters is that you can decide how much play time you give them but if you can dedicate even 20-30 minutes a day, you will notice that you now have a lot bigger stash of materials. 4-8 Enhancement Cores extra daily, 2-4 additional upgrade mods a week.... Most importantly though, you get a better understanding of all the characters and a clearer opinion of where the game really sits. An example would be like me being a Hunter running my Warlock through Stasis... I 100% now can and will agree with all the Lock mains, the nerf to Stasis melee is horrible and needs readjusted immediately. Long story longer....if you enjoy the game you should play multiple classes, if for nothing else at least a fair understanding of all Classes.
-
Or you can do what I do... run 3 titans. =) * popcorn emote *
-
Hey psminecraft12, I'd play all 3 to really get the feel of every aspect of this game! I started as a hunter main back in destiny 1 but now I can't tell you how much I love playing warlock.
-
I have all 3 But the slidy slide for the titan is impossible to give up for pvp So good luck lol
-
Play all 3. Don't be a typical Titan main and play as 1 character, then b*tch about the others without understanding their perspective, and their strengths and weaknesses.
-
Definitely all 3.
-
For variety sakes and jump -blam!- ups xD you should make 1 of each class
-
I got a full loadout of 1250 guns first. Moved them to my alts, did a few campaign missions to gather some blue armour, once my Season Pass armour started showing it would drop at ~1213 I pulled it 1 piece at a time, lowest slot first. By the time I was done with that I was at Raid level.
-
It depends on your time budget. I play 5-10 hours/week so playing one character is most efficient.

Edited by FluffyBunnyFeet: 12/3/2020 4:44:53 PMMain your Titan into pinnacle territory. After you have done this, move your highest light weapons to the next character, take the season pass armor bundle. 1 at a time and waiting for it to update light levels (as they increase as your light level does) , slowly open the rest of the seasonal armor from your pass. If you have it all unlocked (lvl 50 or so), you should be able to squeak your character to 1250 with minimal effort. Do not pump your alt characters to 1200 with silver, it's simply a waste of money for those that don't know better.

Cater to casuals! - old
It’s fun mixing up the classes.... -
Ignore all info Kelly Green gives ill give you better info Having 3 characters gives you 2 more chances for raid loot if you wish to run raids and can help level your titan up faster since you can move your highest weapons to different characters and surpass your previous characters level quickly (basically your just leveling up faster) As well due to recent (greedy) changes in brightdust its now more desirable you have 3 characters so you make as much as you did on your 1 character before per week
-
Leveling up three characters is faster than you would guess from leveling up one. Because you can hand your higher powered weapons down to your alternates, and thus get higher powered drops. Plus you clear content faster because you've learned the fights with your first character. But maintaining three characters takes a lot more time than just maintaining one. So only make three, if you want the experience of playing the game with each character. Because you may find that you dont' like one of the classes as much as the others. Whenever I need to let a class go for awhile....its always Titan. Warlock and Hunter are a better fit for my play style and how I approach games. I enjoy playing Titan...but its a bit more "work" getting into that mindset for me So it was the last character I made...and is always the first one I set aside when I need to narrow things down. You may feel the same way about Warlocks or Hunters.
-
play what you like, if you dont like Hunter/Warlock, keep playing Titan 24/7. there is no reason to play all 3.
-
Now is the best time to start a new character. I deleted my hunter and to experience the entire new light fresh and honestly your not left behind at all. All of the old shadow keep and forsaken stuff is optional other than the first mission of each dlc to unlock each location. If you have the time it’s fun to play with the other classes
