Love the Tiered Lost Sectors. Just a couple of niggles...
As I say. Love the idea of them. Got two niggles with them right now though.
1. Can we have all Lost Sectors have this capability down the line? I'd love to do a legend or master run of somewhere like The Empty Tank in the Tangled Shore, for example. Could be fun.
2. For a game that prides itself on cooperation with others why in the living heck did y'all decide to make the exotic drops from the tiered Lost Sectors only drop if you complete it solo? I think that they should drop if you are in a fireteam too, albeit at a rarer rare. Basically, the more people go into the mission, the lower the chance of an exotic dropping. That would be better I think. Still keeps it special but allows people who struggle with higher tier things alone to still have a chance at a reward.
Just my two cents honestly.

6 RepliesIt was good of them to provide a rewarding solo activity. I felt accomplished on its completion and it demanded that I wasn't reliant on others to do it like a great many activities. I think the community as a whole would be better served being made to rise to the occasion every now and then. Too much of this game has become participation trophies and it does a disservice to the people that don't force themselves to grow in any aspect of the game. Putting all pinnacles in a kiosk. Reducing requirements for Titles over and over. Getting rid of Competitive. Removing any incentive to play Survival. Soon you will just get to tour the Lighthouse for a win or traipse through a Grandmaster for a glance.

They are fun solo. And a much better feeling of accomplishment when u finish them.

It’d be nice if the new exotics were weighted to drop from the lost sectors even after you have obtained them I’ve had 2 terrible icefall mantle drops and in about 3 hours of running the sector both master and legend and I’m swimming in doomfang Pauldrons

1. YES 100000000000%. I can see this in future seasons for sure 2. both yes and no. These are easy easy with a team. So unless the drop rate was ridiculously low. 5 times harder or more to get.. then I say no. leave it as is. This does allow solo players something to grind out that is a solo activity not a group activity. While its tougher under light, at light its pretty simple and no reason not to complete it with a few tries at worst.

That way you can solo for a better chance at the drop or do runs with friends for a decent chance. It would be fun to farm them together.
