Don’t think anyone misses those camping maps Leveling your weapon was a nightmare, no one misses that Ghost’s light...yea don’t think anyone misses that. Exotic shards? Why ar-wait when was the last time you played this game? Gunsmith wednesdays? Bruh go play D1. You just want bungie to copy and paste D1 over instead of just going and playing it

Agreed. Now since they said D2 will be a single evolving world they should bring back all the good parts of D1 as you mentioned. D2 players have no idea of how great the D1 system and loot was. Everything felt rewarding. For example, xur. You don’t just simply approach xur to get an exotic you have to do the nightfalls you get strange coins to get exotics which felt more rewarding then exotics being handouts. The rarity system in D2 doesn’t work. Also strike specific loot was amazing in D1 along with the design of armor and weapons. Everything in D2 is lackluster and recycled

What happened is that the game evolved. Destiny 2 isn't Destiny 1. So the game sends you out into the world to get loot, rather than you buying it or getting it as Reward packages in the Tower. It can do that because D2 has far more activities to do than D1 ever had.

Luke Smith is the main culprit, though the rest of senior management sucks as well. The same people who saw the train wreck that was D1 due to the late hour reboot and retcons did the [i]exact[/i] thing with 2. Beyond Light is another soft reboot. You can’t gank the first [i]three[/i] campaigns that lay the foundation of the games story and not call that a reboot. There is some talent at Bungie in the worker bees but people in charge who give direction and make decisions are clueless.

9 RepliesI'm going to give everyone some advice. If you have a problem with the this game, other games, Bungie, other developers, the industry as a whole and you want change? It's a two (2) step plan and both have to be done in order to get all of the industry "normalities" to end. First off, state your issue or issues in clear, consist, stoic language. You have got to stop with the emotional charged speeches. Not just the topics but you have to stop using emotional language in your posts. Bungie is a company first and do not understand any circumstance care about you, your situation, your family or anyone else's life unless it seems to be a social charged subject, such as; religion, politics, social issues, (i.e; gender, race, sexual preference and so on) and only care if it seems to open up the demographic to potential customers. This is about only one thing: money. So in the plainest of terms; make your case, state the details of the issue and wait patiently for a response. If a quick and consist response does arrive, move on to second step. Second, this is the most important part of this step towards constructive and position changes to not just our favorite game but for this industry as a whole. You have to have the will, the fortitude, to stop spending money and your valuable time on these companies by playing the games they're wasting both of the resources you give them. The will not, I repeat, will not stop this course of action if you (the gaming community as a whole) continue to support them no matter what they do. Bungie's staff and Bungie's investors want results in the form of your play time and your money. If they don't have either of those, over time, they won't have either until they make meaningful changes. If you do these two (2) things, you'll start to see change. Emotionally charged, ultimatum lined posts aren't going to change anything. Take your time and money somewhere else till they change. I hope this helps you all.

They learnt that people are more willing to pay for seasonal items and expansions passes than they are actual solid content and that a playerbase is completely fine with them removing chunks of content at will. This is why you have what you have now. The game was better when it just had dlcs.
