Xur Stole my Cypher
So my friend had an exotic cypher in their inventory as well as a completed quest from xur for a second one, however you can only hold one cypher. They went to talk to xur to check out the merch he was selling and it automatically turned in the quest. Since he already had a cypher the one he was going to be rewarded poofed. Its not in his inventory or his postmaster. Also there is no new quest being offered by xur ( assuming because he turned a quest in? ) in any case cypher poofed and no new mission available. All he did was click on xur to check the store. Anyone else have this issue yet or know of a fix? (Or where the magic disappearing cypher went?)

Same here, had a cipher, talked to Xur and it was robbed, there are a ton of other similar posts going out so like my post don't expect a reply as I aint seen anyone get one yet from bungie.

The quest only completes if you hit X/A/Enter when approaching Xur; the quest completion screen can be bypassed by hitting B/O/Esc so that you can spend any Exotic Ciphers in your inventory on a second Engram before attempting to claim the new Cipher from the quest.
