Lost lament Quest not giving me Exo Challenge
I am on the "complete exo challenge" step for lost lament and I finished the variks quest for the Exo challenge but the sword quest did not progress. Says I still need to finish the exo challenge. Ran it again and it still didnt work. Deleted the quest and picked it up again and still on same step. What am I doing wrong?
Update: i logged out of destiny completely, logged back in and ran the exo challenge again and it worked this time.

I am also having this problem... Exo challenge does not appear on the map, despite Variks claiming it is there... Then I found this video on youtube and tried it just now - yup, it works. I have deleted this quest from all guardians, logged out of the game completely, logged back in and picked up Lost Lament from the tower kiosk, ran the Exo Challenge again, and still no progress. Variks never gave me, nor has it ever been available to pick up the Old Secrets New Challenges quest that I was supposed to finish before getting Lost Lament.

Same over here, I switched character and Quest was on Step 3 instead of 5, I Discarded the Quest and now I don't know where can I recover it as Banshee is not showing anything.

1 ReplyThe same is happening to me. Have tried the exo challenge several times but no progress! Hopefully Bungie will fix it reset Tuesday.

The quest is bugged for me too, at the same step : no exo challenge completed even with the new one of this week. It seems it has not been fixed with the update. Hope it will be fixed soon.

1 ReplySo I tried dumping the Quest again. This time I logged out, reset my XBox, logged back in grabbed the quest from the Kiosk and reran the Survival Simulation AGAIN. This time, after starting 4 times because I kept starting out with 0 heavy, I pushed ahead hoping some would drop and it did right before the boss fight. This time it actually worked.

I’m having the same problem. I’ve already ran 4 exo challenges. No progress at all. I’ve been stuck on step 5 since the quest came out. I thought it was an isolated incident, because apparently my brother was able to finish the quest just fine. But no. Other people are having this problem. It has to be looked at and fixed. I thought it was gonna be looked into with this weeks hotfix, but apparently not.

Edited by Kage: 11/24/2020 10:08:29 PMI’m stuck on step 5 of lost lament. I’ve followed everyone’s posts about what to try to resolve the issue and I can’t get the eco challenge at all. I’ve abandoned 5 times and hard reset my console but nothing. Variks doesn’t have the exo challenge quest for me.

This is happening for me too. Ran 5 Exo challenges since picking up the quest step to get it, none of them have done anything. Two of this weeks challenge, three of the previous weeks

It's bugged for me as well. I completed it before getting to that step on the lament quest and sim survival will not update it for me. I haven't abandoned it yet and going to bed. try again later I guess

2 RepliesExact same issue here. Ran the Exo challenge FOR the Lament quest no progress, re ran Survival. Dumped the quest into the Kiosk and got it back blah blah blah and still not progress. While I'm highly pissed by the concept I'm half tempted to run it on a different char. But will wait to see if a new Exo challenge comes out tomorrow and it will randomly work. My real guess is the completion is tied to RNG and with my luck (8 weeks needing just a chest on my Titan to get him to 1060 and it NEVER happened) meaning I'll still be screwed tomorrow. Worse we need Bungo to fix it. I'll trust in the worthless RNG before I trust in Bungo fixing something that is actually broken.

Yes! Me too! I have the challenge but i no longer have the Exo mission - I’ve done a solo run on the Exo challenge twice now - and the game won’t complete the challenge so i can go to the next one. I really do nit want to delete the Quest and start from scratch again - very dissapointing - btw - Bad Omens (2shots) and a Nova Bomb takes the Boss Hydra out hella quick
