Europa is kinda...boring after a while
First week was great but Europa is sorta becoming the new Mercury for me, it feels empty half of the time and you travel back and forth constantly because the fast travel points are at the bottom near Variks and Stranger.
Idk I feel like Mars did it right because you could fast travel from one end of the map to the other.
Plus there needs to be a increase in ads and not three random Vex in one large area.

I thought it was boring at first. Then i found other areas. It’s weird tho, you never see anyone in those places? Also as you go along and get more quests, starts getting better. I like it.

8 RepliesThat's because they beat you to death traveling all over the place on the same planet which is 3x of you play all 3 characters. If the story had you go other places it would remain more interesting for a longer period of time. Once I'm done getting this laundry list of stuff done on my characters, I'll be taking a break from this. The loot is terrible, the armor dropping is years old, PVP is ridden with freezing abilities... I dont feel like this game is being developed for veteran players anymore. This has new light written all over it.

Yes, story sucks as well, I haven't logged in, in about a week and have no drive to. The best thing about this expansion is reading the forums and reddit tell me how bad it is.

2 RepliesI still love europa. The dynamic weather and the contrast between snowy surface and technology basements are awesome. It's very extreme if you compare that with Mercury.

Edited by zmach1: 11/23/2020 3:16:58 PMThe snowstorms have gotten old for me. Yeah, cool at first, but now just a pain. Some patrol areas are just more fun to rinse and repeat. Even in D1, people had their individual favorites. I always liked Venus. I actually like Tangled Shore and other than the annoying snowstorms am enjoying Europa.

5 RepliesThey got it so wrong on this DLC I'm sure there's more to come via timegated missions but its the same stuff every season Go collect Bounties. Complete Void Arc Solar sniper hand cannon ect ect. Cash them in then rinse repeat The new Hunt you cant complete without doing Strikes Gambit or PVP rinse repeat If you dont grind out light lvls you cant solo legendary lost sectors If you dont grind out light lvls you cant raid Theres a reason theres 1 spawn point in Europa and thats travel time slows the players down slowing the game down. Bounties at tower slows game down traveling to and from tower. Then once in tower your running around collecting them Scrapping blues slows the players down Buying materials in 5s from spider slows game down Everything in this game is designed to slow the player base and drag out the game

No offence mate, but all of Destiny’s locations become boring after a certain amount of familiarity kicks in. I haven’t gotten to that stage yet, but I know it will happen eventually, and probably sooner than later, since Bungie removed so much content from the game, that I’m forced to binge on all of Europa’s content in order to remain engaged.

i mean...thats how bungie does locations lol. Its a place to run around and do patrols and public events.

Yeah after I finishing the campaign I feel no motivation to go back there whatsoever, yeah it works fine enough but the environment just gets stale to look at traverse. Out of all of the environments they could have used they chose to just have this mostly white and blue snowy area and we've already seen something similar with the likes of mars and yeah it fits with the stasis abilities but the main problem is how empty it feels. I know that they can do better than this so I don't know why we got something like this in an expansion that was supposed to be so important for the direction of the game.

Enemy density has always been terrible in patrol zones. The more difficult patrols, combined with greater distance and sparse enemies really makes Europa's game play suck. The space is beautiful. Patrols should have more difficult zones. Like legendary lost sectors, only over world. Now that WF is over, Europa has a tone more spaces to look about... New sword is dope.

2 RepliesEveryone complained so much about story content and now bungie put a ton of focus on story everyone realized oh ya if we want actual story that means we get nothing else. We desperately need loot!! Everything since Gambit prime has been awful. It's either anti meta with decent perks but bad ttk or it's meta stuff with HORRIBLE perks and it's just not good. Primary weapons right now just FEEL bad that why gnawing hunger was going so crazy is because it was the only gun that was both meta archtype and fantastic perks. Bungie's terrified of strong primary but goes and adds things like felwinters into the game. I do not understand wtf goes through their heads. Let's bring truth back totally won't break gambit.... 3 in the mag aggressive targeting that curves walls. Doesn't break crucible so it's fine. The perfect example is iron banner. D2 iron banner is the BIGGEST joke. This is a "pinnicale" pvp activity yet it has some of the worst loot in the game. Last season auto wasn't bad but it was also the season of 600rpm autos. Think of d1 banner we had nirwens mercy, iron wreath side arm, ash ravens flight, colovances duty, hakkons hatchet, clever dragon. Now we have a bunch of meh and instant dismantles and getting a very slow trickle of meh coming back. It's the only non holiday event we get and it's just the worst. The loot isn't worth the salt. Literally just cut and paste rise of irons banner loot and it would be SO much better. Bungie needs to stop recycling d2 trash and steal more d1 goodness. Steal d1 trials loot for d2 banner. Bring back blind perdition and burning eye. Bring back GOOD primary weapons that might stand a chance to beat special weapons. D2 you don't need a primary you just need a special scav and you never have to take off shotty snipes

3 RepliesAfter a while? The first week sealed it for me. Having done the DLC with all three toons... I now officially hate it. Wow. That was a terrible experience. I wont do the post campaign content with other characters. Wow. That was a terrible experience.

T here is nothing in euro p a empty Wasteland. One strike then empty space. Going around with two access positions at the bottom of the map Only thing worth doing is farming is the exotic armor once thats done there is Nothing to do.
