Do I have to buy Beyond Light twice?
Hey,
I ordered beyond light on the xbox and have been loving it.
I went to play on the pc earlier though and it says I need to purchase it again? I've cleared my steam download cache but it didn't seem to help. Any ideas.

DLC are individually licensed purchases per gaming platform. I believe Season Pass ownership carries over because they are in game silver purchases. but they are limited to an account so you can't game share them on the same console/different account, while being able to play them on any platform on the same account it was purchased from.

DLC licenses are granted by the platform company for their platform only. Even with Cross Save, if you want to access that content on multiple platforms, you have to purchase it on each of those systems. Season Passes, however, are in-game purchases and will move with your Cross Save characters, so you do not have to buy Season Passes multiple times.
