So I have come across the issue many times where I have a mission that has to be completed in a strike, and i have to get a certain amount of kills in a certain way that is way to specific to accomplish when there are pugs/blueberries/what have you in the strike KSing the enemies I work to set up a certain way. The option to toggle matchmaking has been, as far as I have heard, requested since Destiny 1. There are some console players that have found a way around it by changing date and times on their system, but that cant be said for PC players. Is there some sort of money making reason you refuse to listen to your players, or do you just not care about the request pertaining to pve and only care about issues with pvp. I have been a long time player and this bothers me. I see no reason that this couldn't be implemented and would like to know why it hasn't. I'm sure many readers will quote that if I want to farm lost sectors and crap that I should do that IN a lost sector. I agree, however, when we are forced by you, Bungie, to pick between Crucible based quests (where cheating is rampant and easy to get around bans with new accounts), Gambit based ones (decidedly easier to complete but still require some aspect of pvp that some players suck at, myself included), and Strike based ones (where the main issue is getting KSed by pugs/blueberry that couldn't give a crap about what I'M trying to accomplish) many people are going to pick the strike based ones, then of course we now have to compete in something that should be co-op but isn't because you are pitting us against each other for kill counts. This takes away from the fun of the game to me, and I;m sure many others. So I repeat my question, why is there no way to turn off matchmaking if I want.
