balancewise, i think stasis is fine in PVE apart from the fact that you take damage when you free yourself from being frozen.
but seeing how impactful it can be in pvp, there's quite a few changes i would love to see implementet in some way:
firstly, as mentioned before: you no longer take damage from freeing yourself from stasis
second: sentinel shield block should definitely be able to stop the ice waves created for example by the titan behemoth when standing on the ground (since it completely covers you from head to toe) and any other freezing effect directed at the blocking titan's shield should be negated as well.
third: supers should generally be a lot more resistant to the freezing effect.
fourth: solar should be the opposite to the stasis effect, and solar abilities/damage should free yourself and/or teammates from stasis. (example for freeing yourself: throwing an incendiary grenade at your feet before becoming frozen)
and maybe add a "thawing" effect or the like that prevents becoming frozen for a tiny bit after being released by solar damage.
fifth: healing effects or overshields should lower the time to free yourself
that way, stasis is still somewhat powerful but you get ways to play around it and have a greater chance of survival.
