Questions about Beyond Light purchase and Help

I purchased Beyond Light Collectors edition for Xbox when the announcement was made immediately, but since then I have transitioned to PC. I was just hoping that there may be some way to change my code for Beyond Light to a steam copy, unless it's a thing that's across multiple accounts? I don't particularly see myself playing on Xbox any more and would like to see what options may be available? Also I have not used or redeemed the code I received for Xbox, so I was wondering about exchanging that..? Considering the code hasn't even been checked from the email so it hasn't been used, in theory I should be able to exchange it, I don't wish to really redeem it if it can be helped. Thank you for your time.

  • There is no way to transfer the license from one platform to another or exchange the code meant for one platform to one meant for another. You can try to request a full refund and return your Collector's Edition to the retailer you purchased from and try to get it for Steam instead, but there's no guarantees that there will be any copies left considering the update begins today. Along with that, since you received a digital code for it, most retailers will not accept refunds or exchanges as there's no way to check if the code was used or not outside of using the code (which would then use the code).
