So, I've been banned from PvP for something I didn't do

So, at the start of December last year, I LFG'd on PlayStation to try and climb to legend. I happened to team up with a someone who was DDOSing our opponents in order to win. Once I figured this out, I left and reported them. However, I did end up getting "temporarily restricted" from all PvP activities despite the fact that I had not done anything. I accepted this as I thought "I didn't do anything to stop him, it's partly my fault" and thought I'd wait it out. I just found out today that this "temporary restriction" is set to last 500 years, and no, I'm not exaggerating. Is there anything that I can do, anyone I can talk to, in order to try and work something out? I know how this sounds, cheater is sad that they can't play, but I swear to you that I did not do anything and didn't know about it. Is there anything that I can do?

  • Allo there, The #Help forums are not able to assist with appeals of restrictions or bans. However, there is a process in place for him to appeal his ban or restriction. Please review the Contact Form: Appeal Ban or Restriction article found here. Please note that, as mentioned in the article, there is no guarantee for a response, nor is there a guarantee that his ban or restriction will be overturned. • You can try to appeal. However, based on the sheer amount of games it occurred in, I wouldn’t get your hopes up.
