Help with ban.

Hi, I was wondering if anyone had any guidance for what to do if you are banned while not doing anything wrong? (to my knowledge) I got on D2 on pc for the first time in a long time and was going to start getting ready for new expansion. I was attempting to use a PS4 Controller wirelessly but it was only working while plugged in for the game itself (steam had no issues registering it wirelessly). I repeatedly plugged in and unplugged the controller trying to get it to work with no luck. I finally gave up, did a heroic on Titian then just went and ran around the tower. The next day I boot up Steam and get a message saying I was perm banned. I submitted a ticket for a ban appeal back on the 24th of October but have not heard anything. Does anyone know how long this process normally takes? Are there any tips that may be able to help? Hell, is there a way I can at least see my ticket on the website or can I only see updates in my email? I would also like to add that this is in no way an attempt to bypass the Code of Conduct rule 13. "Evasion of bans, suspensions, or our language filter." I am simply just trying to get back to a game franchise I have enjoyed for years.

 • Howdy. The #Help forums are not able to assist with appeals of restrictions or bans. However, there is a process in place for you to appeal your ban or restriction. Please review the Contact Form: Appeal Ban or Restriction article found here. Please note that, as mentioned in the article, there is no guarantee for a response, nor is there a guarantee that your ban or restriction will be overturned. For more information on Bungie's policy regarding bans and restrictions, please review the policy here.

I am simply just trying to get back to a game franchise I have enjoyed for years.
-_- For most PC tagalongs: They are banned because SOMETHING installed on your PC was viewed as a POTENTIAL threat to D2 and those are PROMPTLY BANNED. ACTIVE cheats for D2 AND Cheats for other games can trigger this. (Cheat Engine, Borderlands Commander, etc.) The process for BANS and RESTRICTIONS involve reports coming in from players or their flag system towards an individual. The person at Bungie HQ reviews it. And they decide if it was warranted or not. Intentionally or not your account broke the rules. Ignorance doesn't exempt you from them. Your account is done. the chances of it actually getting reversed are MINISCULE. They have absolutely no obligations to reply to this post or your appeal form. If you submit an appeal and don't get a response in 5 days time then consider the BAN upheld. I suggest you start over or move on. If the BNGSecurity account ever does become active again it'll look something like this.
Your account was banned on DATE when an application designed to read and modify the memory of other applications at runtime was detected targeting the Destiny 2 game client directly. This is, at minimum, a violation of Bungie's policies against runtime analysis. It is the responsibility of each player to understand what software is running on their device and how it interacts with other applications. The data leading to your ban has been reviewed and validated. Your punishment will not be overturned and is not eligible for appeal.

We do not ban players for simply having cheat tools installed, but do ban for running them while playing Destiny 2. We do not differentiate between cheat tools for Destiny 2 and cheat tools for other games because it would be easy to avoid a ban by making a Destiny 2 cheat tool that pretends to be a cheat tool for another game. Make sure you turn all cheat tools off before running Destiny 2 and you won’t have to worry about bans.
(source)

 • There is no set time frame as you may not ever hear back. It's been more than a day or two it doesn't look good for unban
