Along with what others have said, there's a few issues you may run into. Firstly, the GamePass does not include Beyond Light Deluxe. It includes Beyond Light; with the GamePass version, you'd still need to purchase Silver to be able to get the Season Passes in-game; they are not included with GamePass. As you also mentioned, the Deluxe content is the same. There is no separate purchase at this time for just the Deluxe Content Add-On; it's currently only included with the actual purchase of the Deluxe Beyond Light package. So you will not be able to get the Deluxe content at all and would have to purchase the Season Passes individually if you decide you'd rather go with the GamePass-granted Beyond Light. As far as a refund goes, as others have stated, Bungie does not handle or have access to your licenses; that is entirely in the hands of Microsoft for your purchase on Xbox. Microsoft is the one you gave your money to, not Bungie, and Microsoft is the one you'd need to speak with to request a refund if you have already been charged for it. It's extremely unusual that Microsoft would send you here to ask Bungie for a refund when you didn't make your purchase from Bungie. Bungie will not refund you for your purchase from Microsoft; if the representative you speak with next time you contact them tells you to contact Bungie, please be insistent; you gave your money to Microsoft, the retailer that you purchased from; Microsoft is the retailer that would handle the refund.
