It's a useless stat in PvE. The slight health boost it gives you is a joke. Bungie, I get that you wanted to make it balanced for PvP, but couldn't you maybe add some sort of PvE-side function; an actual increase to damage resistance against enemy AI, like the Minor/Major/Boss Resist mods? Even if it's just a 2% increase per tier, that would be better than this.

Upvote this until the end of time if I could.
Concussion Dampener
-
There is a noticable difference in pve. Playing my warlock with a resistance of 30 vs my hunter with a resistance of 70, I die much less often in modes like gambit and nightfalls.
-
reduced knockback from stop and reduced dmg from aoe damage like taken knigbts would be a nice start
-
Being able to get up to 20% damage reduction in PvE for having Resilience would be pretty cracked without feeling too overpowered.
-
Give it like melee damage resistance or resistance for being close to enemies. That way its powerful but circumstantial and it rewards being close to enemies (which the game punishes you for already) and allows you to take advantage of melee builds. Idk, just spitballin.

Take concussive dampener out the game and put it into resilience
-
You’re wrong mate - in PvE there’s a difference and it starts quite early. The biggest issue is minor, major and boss mods as well as concussive dampener give better reductions with less energy cost meaning it’d be pointless to invest in resilience over those mods. However, armour rolled with high resilience isn’t worthless in PvE in the same way it would be in PvP...

It should give you a greater resistance to DoT, boss knock back and more damage resistance in general while critical.

You know somethings a big deal when the fourth hokage of all people steps out of the show into real life and makes a post on bungie.net about it

Totally agree. Resilience needs adjusting.
