PC LFG smh
Ive had to make a post about this before but apparently it has to be a regular thing that I may do once a week smh
When you are using LFG there are 2 things that you should do and or have already done.
1. Be ready to play!!! People don't have time to sit in a lobby for 5-10 minutes waiting for the fireteam leader to start the activity. Hell, I personally give a fireteam leader 30 seconds or Im off to find another LFG post. Don't waste peoples time
2. Have you party Open!!!! This isnt such a big issue on console, but in the 3 weeks I have been on PC more than 80% of posts have their Privacy Settings set to Invite Only or Closed. With how PC is with having to enter the join code and no way to message said person, joining a post is impossible
Hope this resonates with people, Im sure it wont be the last time I post about it

1 Reply30 seconds to start the activity? xD Most of the time you DM for a join code and receive a message back an hour later, when you're already in another group.

Make your own post, the sheer amount of people that will join posts and ask for an inv that don't meet the requirements is just bonkers on any system (PC/xbox/whatever). You're better off being in charge so you can reject them instead of weighing the team down or in your case taking ages to start

I'm assuming, like me, that most people on PC use the lfg discord? The app is terrible.

It's their group they can do what they want. I suggest you create your own group and then you too can do what you want. 👍

2 Replies5 to 10 minutes? I give someone exactly 1 minute to send the invite before I'm out. Everything is on a 1 minute timer unless otherwise communicated before hand. It's your time, don't waste it.

People will make a post, no one will join, and then forget about it. They’ll have moved on to a different activity, or be AFK, or have gotten off the game entirely. It isn’t really their fault, either, because again, only psychopaths use the app. Leaving like you do only exacerbates the problem. Sometimes, you don’t have a full group. You might be at 4/6 for a raid, but you can’t fill your fire team because number 5 demands instant gratification. [quote]2. Have you party Open!!!! Plus, who in the actual -blam!- uses Destiny’s in-game chat? It sounds worse than a Kinect in a MW2 pregame lobby. You use a shit service, expect a shit experience.

I got my flawless confidence passage with random people from lfg also get consistently good pvp and Pve players lfg is a good experience you just need to know how to sort through the blueberries and don’t be afraid to boot them if they aren’t good enough
