There's a dead Ghost memory on Luna where the ghost talks about reviving her Guardian no matter what except she can't because her Guardians bones and remains are covered in worm/hive matter.
We know the Darkness naturally has light suppressing and corrupting effects by mere proximity so what can be said of a Guardian encased and shattered by a force above worm/hive juices and well...anything else at the moment. Hell, even the weapons of Sorrow did bad stuff to the Light.
I can't imagine Shaxx cheering Guardians on for delivering what would be their crucible opponents final death. Maybe Drifter should oversee or comment whenever you get Stasis kills or something. I guess this is the part where the lore and consistency really starts to unravel more than ever.

Shaxx can not do any damn thing about it Bungie is allowing it
-
Shaxx is already compromised. He has an what looks like a wish dragon head hanging above his alcove in the tower. He also has been singing about moon cheese to the tune of the witch queen. I doubt he'll even notice.
-
He's just happy he can send a bunch of poor RedJacks to their doom securing him some crucible arenas on Europa. Have you read much Shaxx lore? It's bonkers, the dude is obsessed with securing new crucible maps. Any excuse he has within the story he jumps straight for it.
-
He doesn't ban Guardian made Thorns since they aren't as corrupted as the original. I imagine Stasis will be treated similarly.
-
Saladin allowing shotguns in the IB is questionable
-
They’ll only be “mostly” dead....
-
Shaxx: "The Crucible is no place for mercy!" Also Shaxx: *looks at score and calls mercy rule* "I'm calling it..."
-
That and freeze mechanics are miserable to play against

The idea of the modern day crucible is to better prepare us for combat. Shaxx was thrilled at the introduction of the Trials of Osiris back when Vance originally started them, which would be questioned by others based on the groups fanatical worship of the exiled Warlock. I’d imagine Shaxx would be in favour of introducing or at least allowing its usage in the crucible due to its ability to allow guardians to further study and combat it.
-
It would be interesting if the revive actually took longer due to the way they were "killed" giving your team the advantage in numbers if only for a few extra seconds. Not advocating that as I feel the maps are far to small for that type of thing, even 2 seconds would be a long time.
-
The way I see it that if Shaxx sees The Guardian using stasis, he'll allow it
-
Consistency? lol
-
It's alright, on ice, yeah.
-
I guarantee you there will be lore explaining why it doesn’t permanently kill Guardians in the Crucible.

good idea. upvote

Shaxx is possessed 👻😈
