Warlock class items are SERIOUSLY lacking
I say this in regards to their class item. Hunters still have their fabulous cloaks, and titans still have their amazing marks, yet warlocks essentially have next to nothing. Its a bracelet on their upper arm but usually it blends into their chest armor anyways. I think the best way to remedy this would to create more exaggerated designs. Not saying to make it some HUGE ring, but I think it would be amazing if they possibly just covered their entire left arm, creating some slight asymmetry
EDIT: I suppose I should have been less exaggeratory when I said "Amazing" titan marks, as honestly (as a Titan main) there aren't a lot of good ones out there at the moment, not as good as D1's like the Speaker's. Honestly I wish we still had the Speaker class items because they were seriously the PEAK in terms of Destiny's design. I hold onto hope at least

For the warlock i always thought of replacing their leg armor with a magical belt or amulet since its hard for yall warlocks to see your legs anyway with those dresses you wear. And when bungie designs your dresses they just design the legs with it so it's all one, and than they could add some cool mystical item in replace if that leg armor, so you would have a bond and another cool item to compensate for the bonds being small. But im not a warlock, so i dont know how actual warlocks would feel about this idea.

Warlocks have the best individual armor pieces, and are blessed to have a class item that isn't a butt cape. In essence the bond is kinda just there to be there. The chestpiece is the real Warlock class item.

I'm a Warlock main and I'm underwhelmed by the Warlock armor in general. It is goofy, ugly, or plays on the, "I'm here to save the day in my bathrobe," theme. Haha. When I find chest armor I like with a good roll, I stick with it. That makes[i] only two [/i]different pieces right now. The Season of Arrivals armor set is one I like. It's a massive improvement. I spent time in fashion design school, graduated with an arts degree, and works as an artist and designer. The Warlock armor usually makes me cringe. It seems like the armor designer secretly hates Warlocks and finally reached peak antagonist in "Season of the Worthy" by designing the Eververse set with an [i]actual target on the chest[/i]. LOL! Hunters[i] always[/i] look the coolest, but I can't choose my class based on looks. My play style suits Warlock. The Hunter Siegebreak Cloak is interesting. It's a love it or hate it piece. I dig it. It would be cool if Warlocks had choices for bonds that were this interesting. With armor ornaments there are so many possibilities.

Would honestly depend on the design for me. Personally I think some of the larger, bulkier bonds look bad aesthetically. So having something similar covering the whole arm does not sound appealing. I do agree warlocks could use better looking bonds though. The only ones I've ever liked the designs of are Ego Talon and Coronation/Sovereign Lion. Everything else is either too bulky, to plain or has unappealing designs.

1 ReplyI agree with the hunters cloak being great but titan marks are meh. I do agree we need cooler Warlock bonds but I also want something really cool for titans. Like give titans a Iron banner cape for a mark or give warlocks a cool effect where one of there arms is like cursed with Stasis. You know just something cool. Now I do think Hunters need some cool things like this but that will be for another time

I've been saying they were dogshit since D1. Instead of a tiny arm band, we should've had grimoires chained around our waists, or hanging around our necks. See WoSD for a good example.

I do like that although they need to stay before the elbow because it could clash with arm equipment like ophidia. I wish they made more like the one from the sephics perfected strike where it has a sigil that changes

However, i feel wouldnt merge properly with certain amour pieces and a look a little off. Still if they manage to pull it off it would look a lot better aesthetically. My personal opinion is that they introduce bigger and more unique projections, so larger projections that cover the arm with a snake wrapping around it or a dragon, wolf, hawthornes hawk only larger, etc. Or scriptures from osiris, ikora or just symbols from where the bond was found - vex for Mercury, nessus//hive from the moon, mars etc. At least with a projection it would look unique, have a glow and a symbol/meaning to them. Like wearing a banner pretty much to represent your faction or teachings.

They could also make bonds have effects again and make said effects bigger. D1 had so good stuff for bonds but I just wish they were bigger and more noticeable. They took a giant step back in D2 for bonds and how the classes look in general. Everything looks pretty meh in comparison to a lot of the good stuff in D1.

Yeah I main a warlock but hate how the bonds are just a small band on one arm,Maybe it should cover the whole upper arm atleast.

The idea if having entire sleeves for warlock bonds is pretty sick, but presumably impractical. I'd like more bonds that have holograms like the season 8 or 10 ornaments, or the gambit bond. Something you can actually see without squinting.
