Could we have the postmaster prioritise higher quality gear
it would be nice if the postmaster prioritised higher quality items such as legendaries and exotics rather than blues, i just lost an exotic engram because my postmaster filled up with blues that i will never use.
or at least tell me when im in an activity that my postmaster is full rather than waiting till i am in orbit not doing anything

How about just move post master. And vault to the destination menu in general. Way more convenient than having ever verse there

Honestly the greatest quality of life update they could give players is the ability to unlock auto dismantle on Blues when we reach the Power Level Soft Cap every season. It would take quite the extended play session to fill up postmaster.

Auto dismantle blues (or removing them from the loot pool once we reach a certain level) would be nice + more vault and postmaster space.

Or you could just use the Destiny app toa delete stuff from your postmaster with your phone. I do it all the time no need to load into the tower

That would be whole lot of programming and time wasted. Just stay on top it, it gets annoying but I've never lost anything in the post.

4 Replieshad an exotic pushed out cpl of days ago, my fault forgot to clear pm before running haunted forest with its insane amount of rare drops but blues pushing out exotics and legies is f'in stupid.luckily i have all exotics so no harm done but could of been a disaster if it was something i needed plzz fix this bungle

I ran 6 strikes (3 playlist, 3 normal), and 1 Haunted Forest, and all my engram slots filled up as well as my postmaster. I lost 4 exotic engrams because useless Umbrella Engrams clogged up my inventory, and for some reason, legendary gear dosen't go to your inventory if your engrams are full

Just have blues auto dismantle. There’s only one point a year that blues ever help with level. Just have it set to auto dismantle after you’re past the soft cap. -

Mate, I lost 50 prisims 10 ascendant shards 7 God roll weapons... So, 1 exotic engram is a blue drop in the world of Destiny...

The game is literally bloated with all the items and this company keeps creating more while not using their head at all. IMO things like consumables should have a multi-purpose so it would lighten up the load of having too many different types. Shader, ships, sparrows, and ghost shells. There are way too many of them or way too many duplicates. It was unnecessary to create as much as they did and yet to come. Blues, yes they help but the game is flooded with them. with all the consumables for glimmer, the amount that drops is unnecessary when you reach the cap. Creating things like prismatic recaster was not something this game needed. It's another thing with the engrams that flooded the game. It's okay to use for leveling up to a point but I don't see the point of handing things out like candy that just floods the game with more items. I could add a few more but this company needs to start thinking smarter and stop flooding this game with useless items. That is more of a problem than anything else. Oh, and no, I don't use my postmaster as a storage but I think [b](Bungie needs to stop doing that)[/b] when crating items that have a very small limit to stacking like Ascendant shared or creating items that you you can only dismantle one at a time.

Bungie has stated that the Postmaster isn't for storage. You also get an in-game message when it's getting full. They expanded the vault so you wouldn't have to store crap in the Postmaster. Either clean out your vault, or clean out your PM.

5 RepliesThere have been a lot of these posts lately, which is obviously people prepping for Beyond Light. I am of two minds on this. People are using the postmaster in ways it wasn't intended, but there is too much blue crap and shaders that cause better drops to be lost. Personally, I have 86 enhancement prisms, 9 ascendant shards, and an exotic engram in my 3 postmasters. I know the risk and carefully monitor my postmasters. However, I still think something needs to be done with getting spammed by blue gear and shaders. These items should not push out anything from the postmaster - ever. Not so much for what I (and others) are doing right now for Beyond Light, but I have lost gear before simply because I was in the middle of a grinding session of various activities, and lost legendaries/exotics to blue-spam. Personally, I think the postmaster should just ignore blues, shaders, and planetary materials if it is full.

Set yourself up a buffer. Empty your post master, send five or so blues to the post master without any purples mixed in. Now whenever you get the message you know only some junk got deleted instead of something useful. By being consistent you can plan around it.

A lot of things like this make so much sense but never made it in the game. Maybe it was just too difficult to filter like that but I assume they simply didn’t care to make the distinction when things get deleted.
