One: IT’S MY BEAUTIFUL BOY, BACK IN THE GAME AFTER THREE YEARS, I’VE MISSED YOU. [b]*Ahem*[/b] Two; It seems that the Sol Inherent are not only still around, but have left the Black Garden. There’s a Vex enemy that displays the exact tendrils we’ve seen in the two Minds associated with the Sol Inherent in Garden of Salvation, which if you didn’t understand from the too bloody subtle mote mechanic was the Vex harnessing the remnant energy of the Pyramids. The trailer also ends with a shot of a Vex Gate, the Fallen having tapped into it in some for of meddling we haven’t seen since House of Wolves. I think we now know what the House of Wolves are bringing to the table for the House of Darkness, knowledge of Skolas’s tampering with the Vex. So, I want to lay out two predictions here, originally I was going to combine the two but I realise that’s far too ambitious. Prediction Number One; We’re in for another Vex raid. This is going to be the least popular one of the two, but I think the raid will have us delving into the Deep Stone Crypt to infiltrate another Vex operation to mine powers they do not fully comprehend. Prediction Number Two; Here’s the big one, something that’s been floating around the community in whispers for a while, sometimes for the wrong reasons (Misleading Nessus Scannables) I believe that the Vex on Europa predate humans setting foot on the planet, much like every planet they’ve dug their claws into. But not only that, I fully believe that there is a reason that the Deep Stone Crypt was set up on a world that just so happens to be infested with the Vex. It is my belief that Clovis Bray studied the Vex and used them as a basis for the Exo Program. Think about it for a moment. We know Clovis Bray were scared to death of any alien life and the threat they could pose to humanity. We see this in their hostile attitude towards the Vex and how quickly they clamp down on the discovery of Dark artefacts on the Moon, sealing their transponder away in the Anomaly. We see in the lore that Exos were used to battle the Vex by Clovis Bray rather aggressively. We also see that Cayde-6 seemed to hold some critical piece of information referred to as the ‘Long Slow Whisper’ that he believes is a deterrent against those who made the Deep Stone Crypt. Well what would be more damaging than realising the supposed protectors of humanity, the arm of Clovis Bray and their all-seeing Warmind, was actually developed based off of one of the very threats they warned you about. That it wasn’t just a transfer of human consciousness, but an exact replica of it that could be manipulated for their own twisted ends? Far fetched? Within the trailer (around 0:52 I believe) we even see both an Exo body and a Vex construct linked to a Clovis Bray machine. Right after it tells us to ‘Uncover the Truth’ Thoughts?
