Will the Xbox Series S get a free version of the game for current owners like the Series X will?
Question is the subject. The Bungie store page states "Purchases of Beyond Light on Xbox One will transfer to Xbox One Series X for free via Smart Delivery."
Does that mean they WILL NOT be available for free for Series S owners?

It is safe to assume that any purchases of Beyond Light on the Xbox One will transfer to both the Xbox Series S and Series X consoles for free via the Smart Delivery platform. And as Lollybomb said the wording on the product page was written before the Xbox Series S console was revealed/announced.

They're the same platform. They play the same games, and use the DLC. The wording was written before the Series S was revealed, and there's absolutely no reason to think that everything bought on one won't run on the other. In fact, to do otherwise would be insanity.
