For the love of God, if you're farming nightfall put mods on your guns!
Running a nightfall with barrier champs n using 2 scouts with counterbalance n a linear fusions, ain't it chief.
And it's overload and unstoppable, so remove the barrier mod from that smg chief, that ain't it either.
Been running these all day n the sheer ignorance of people shows why covid is running rampant. N these imbeciles want raid matchmaking LOL

4 RepliesLOL, you folks crack me up. Truth be told one doesn't even need a champion mod for a Master Nightfall honestly. It's knowing the layout and where the darn mobs (champions) spawn and track. Most of yah running 1020's are completely ignoring any mob, taking out the blights, speed running like mad chickens on crack. I mean if a new light player is in group and there are, trust me there is...they really don't need a mod (1020). Step it up folks, most of us can solo a 1020 without even thinking about it, help out for crying out loud. I get the fact there are some free loaders running into lost sectors (btw, why aren't yall doing this, using the old school nightfall system btw?). Adept and Hero are made for newer players without mods, armor (mods), weapons (mods) and all this neato stuff us vets have...take some time and run with folks who might actually be thankful your there to help out and actually stay with them, don't rush. I can bet yah they are a bit nervous, they rather not screw up...show em the ropes, get em to the chest and feel like they can actually do this without being carried...

Hell you could have ended the post with effective load outs to use instead. It’s not your job, I know, but think of how much more help you would have been. Dose it not feel good to help. 1 ReplyYou do not have to put mods on your guns. Check your Artifact. You(everyone) can literally equip Unstoppable on your Armor. Which leaves Exotics and/or Rampage mods on the table.

Find a group and stay with them- it is obvious people don't use the internet to find out basic things in video games to help them in the long run. DO NOT have faith in blueberries.

After seeing some peeps use supers and do no damage, I asked if they knew whats up. They had no idea what to do and after 5 minutes they got the hang of it. Its annoying, but some people just have no clue to this BS bungie pops in.

I used to run Eriana's Vow even if there's no Barrier champs - if there's a lot of solar shields or long range stuff to deal with (read: The Corrupted / Lake of Shadows). It's also really nice to be able to kill Taken Vandals with it who pop their bubbles. Though recently I've just been running Mountaintop + Not Forgotten / Point of the Stag. Honestly, I don't think it's that much of a detriment as long as they're running at least one special weapon... ... But they aren't doing that, are they?

If your ass is going to go any level above adept bring at least one mod and don’t run Colony and some crappy weapons you want to complete bounties with. I just let the champions kill them bag them for a bit then show them how to stagger a champion.

If you are talking about the matchmade nightfall most of the time you can just burst a champion to death without caring about its mechanic. But yeah matchmaking can give you some serious idiots XD

i had a few runs like that. always go into hero willing and able to take out all the champs yourself.

If I see both of my fireteam members with no proper mod, I will just keep my distance as I shoot adds and let them kill those Champions.

Youve only been running the 1020 nightfall lol. I dunno how you found farming hero level nightfalls that stressfull. You barely need mods, you can sneeze near a champion and it will die at hero level. Your season pass sword will wreck any champ at hero level. And looking at your history, you did the worst in almost every single run lol. And youre here calling out your team mates. Unbelievable.

Players should be locked out of nightfalls if they don't have the required mods.
