Hey all,
I just got back from a year of not being home, and since then I decided I wanted to hop back on Destiny 2 and live it up being a guardian again. And well... it's not working XD
I'm on PC, and every time I try to boot up the game after hitting "Enter", it loads for a sec and gives me this error code, stating that I need to restart my Battlenet app. (the title/intro of the bootup is still Forsaken because that's what it was when I left. Maybe that factors in??) Anyway, I've restarted the Battlenet app many times, but I also know that D2 is no longer on the said app and am wondering if that's actually gonna do anything now. I know that Bungie and Activision were wrapping up a split and whatnot last time I played the game, so I don't know how I'm supposed to access my game when it's in the Limbo of that aftermath.
I've tried linking my Steam account and that side of things to see if that could help, but Steam doesn't recognize that I already own the game because: I didn't buy it through Steam, I bought it through Battlenet.
So that's my dilemma. I'd love to jump back into what I've played and what I own, but I feel like this situation was caught in the aftereffects of the split, so I'm lost and need some outside help. Thanks!

You have to move your old content to steam

Edited by dc213baseball: 9/21/2020 5:14:23 PMYou need to go through the “pc move” process to move your licenses/characters/etc from battlenet to steam. You can no longer do anything through blizzard/battlenet. https://www.bungie.net/7/en/PCMove
