Im not saying to avoid the server entirely. Just, stay to the LFG channels if you ever get the urge to join a discussion. Cause that OCE mod (I forget the name, cause honestly he doesnt mean anything to me beyond this situation) showed that he doesnt have anywhere near the maturity or common sense to actually be a moderator. Youre not there to make everyone dance to your tune. Youre there to observe and make sure rules are followed, and to enforce the penalties if they are not. Was told by one of the mods that "you need recovery for HP regen values in endgame content." I explained that none of the top-tier players use it for anything but Warlocks, and only because its the class stat. This post is for informational purposes, your mileage may vary, but I saw a consistent showing from the specific staff for a couple of servers, that Ive had the issues with. I stated that they should become better at the game if they need recovery for HP regen, and develop better strategies, because none of the top players use that stat that way. I provided Esoterickk as a prime example. "Dont compare us to him!" Yeah, that proves my point. If you cant perform at his level ... practice. Calling me a "flawless patrol god" and "pfff playlist striker" doesnt change the fact that my points held, and I wasnt even talking about my own play. Was told to "drop the subject, because of toxicity." I mentioned that noone had been toxic, he was just using his mod powers to try to censor me, because he was proven wrong and he knew it. And, he ignored the evidence I presented to him, because the facts are inconvenient to his mindset that his "6.2k hours of experience mean something." I was told "last warning." To which i responded, admittedly, with some profanity in the midst of the statement I made. Without the profanity, the statement was "Youre not actually a top-tier player, your amount of experience means nothing to this situation, and you are invoking mod powers against someone who did not break any rules." Let's be up front here, thats a "partnered Discord." Are we serious? If its partnered, then shouldnt I be able to have a discussion or debate about the game, politely, without being "dictatored" into a corner? I broke one rule, it was the profanity rule. However, in my defense, I am 31 year olds. I dont tolerate people going on power trips cause they arent mature enough to handle the debate. And, it was after the point that mod made it clear that id be banned if I dared to speak up for myself again.
