the removal of sbmm killd this game
i cant even have fun anymore. this game went from what i played every minute of every day, to a shit show of bullshit that ive only played for like 2 days this past week

5 RepliesYou know... reading through the comments and allot of ppl are saying the usual.. Soft, get good, you suck.. blah blah blah.. I actually think it's the other way around. Seems ppl want RNG easy matches vs playing anyone or anything remotely close to actual skill level. Can't fathom how WANTING to playing a pee wee team makes the pee wee team soft.. but ok. Add in rank play lists and rewards for moving up in rank. No weapons this time though.. or add in at least 1 6v6 sbmm list.

Let’s see playing equal level opponents=too sweaty Farming lower skill opponents who then complain it’s not a fair fight=git gud scrub lulz Picture a professional MMA fighter in a ring with a six year old karate student and saying “git gud kid” Just trash players passing the buck, they get their rest in QP but average players have no rest anywhere and have no game type to run away to and farm lower levels to feed their ego. It’s almost like those “skilled” players can’t handle a challenge, but are more than happy to be hypocrites and let the majority of the player base be continually challenged no matter what.

I’m just finished until the final seal triumph becomes available. I’ve gotten all the seasonal Exotics, done all I want. Just time to wait for the seals.

Most fun i’ve had in PVP in a really long time. I even got to ”pop of” in some matches. Felt good and it was a confidence booster to keep me going until i finally reached my goal. No sweats, no stomping. Just players around your skill level trying their best. I finally got my Recluse btw. Better late then never i suppose. Been terrified of Comp before since im not a very skilled pvp player but i had a great time.

10 RepliesSBMM caused PvP to be terrible with everyone running the most BS loadouts like spamming Slide with a Shotgun Just look at Cold War's alpha and the massive amount of negative feedback due to SBMM being enabled The higher you go, the worse it gets due to everyone else abusing the game and its mechanics for cheap kills Leave SBMM to competitive modes

57 RepliesThat’s the whole premise of QUICKPLAY it’s not competitive. Well it’s not called that anymore but you get the point. Connection based matchmaking is far superior because you could match with better people or you can match with worse people your skill level doesn’t matter. On top of that the connection is prioritized so that people aren’t lagging everywhere. (People still lag but that’s the idea)

While I agree getting stomped isn't fun... sbmm simply doesn't work! Iwoupdmuch rather good connections then playing against bots all the time. On my main account in the beginning of this game I farmed rumble (afk) so my kid went from a 1.9 to a .35 at its lowest.... how is it fair that I would ne against people with those stats.. there were games I would go in and not fire a single shot til I was red barred... I still won the battles. I think they need a combination of both. I think they should have featured playlists for both so this stupid debate can finally die.

14 RepliesLet it die. PVP never should have been part of the game to begin with. We wouldn’t be vaulting weapons if the pvp set wasn’t constantly crying for every weapon that kills them to be nerfed. Bungie would have time to take care of the actual game if they didn’t waste so much time catering to people who can’t handle facing actual competition.
