Hunter kinda already there, but let us move around or cancel animations or whatever for our other classes. Or at least be able to cancel the animation for putting down a rift or wall.

i think the cooldowns on all abilities should come to a crawling speed. like 1 of the options you have nets a overall CD to be able to use that 1 ability again and the others you have for at least 5mins. give them a shared cooldown

I Don’t agree to an instant rift, I also main warlock and its a terrible idea. I do agree to having faster animations though, these animations are slow because it was balanced around vanilla where weapons took over -1.5-3 seconds to kill. The game has changed a lot since then and only the hunters got to benefit from the change. The animations do not need to be instant but they definitely need to be much faster.

It’s always been busted how the hunter dodge is the best class ability in the game and has the fastest cool down. This just tells me that every dev at Bungie is either a hunter main or has absolutely no concept of balance. Probably both TBH. Edit: LMAO, look at all the pissed off hunter mains defending their crutch...

hunter ability doesnt benefit team and doesnt stay there for a while.

I think exotics that effect class abilities like kypers helmet for titans or symmetry vest for warlocks should get a buff to increase the animation speed

I think the titan has alot of bonus to it and lowering the timer on wall would just be a bigger advantage. Honestly the titan basically is all classes in one minus some things hmm think tether is all thats missing.

FASTER, not instant. It can feel very slow and clunky at times, I do wish class abilities felt a bit more fluid to use.

Faster deployment of rifts and rally's I'm all for .. But instant.. Idk .. Doing a little tumble on the floor is much easier to do compared to conjuring up a rift or rally

I'm for speeding them up, but not being instant. Even as a Hunter main, if they slowed down dodge to compensate I wouldn't mind. I use it, but I don't crutch it.

how about they nerf the dodge cooldown and up the animation speeds of rift as well as their overall effectiveness. I would rather have all classes have mobile abilities or replace the hunter dodge with something less overpowered.

Yep, but tie it to resilience/recovery score. Level 10 should be near instantaneous, level 5 as it is now. Could tie dodge speed to mobility too, not deploy time but speed at which you actually roll out of the way.

Barricade is already amazing as is, free revives, free heavy ammo, and can sometimes get you capture points if you use it right. Rift would need it most because barricade provides cover, dodge can get you to cover, lose bullet magnetism, reload your weapon or recharge your melee, and can be used instantly, but rift heals or empowers you, and nothing else, and if you use it anywhere near anyone they’ll rush you and probably kill you. Not to mention you almost never see anyone using empowering rift.

Not sure I think making them [i]instant[/i] is the right decision. Rifts and Barriers are supposed to be preemptive where as dodge is supposed to be reactive so it needs to be faster than the other two but for sure rifts and barriers need to be adjusted to make them more viable, especially rift as it takes an outrageous amount of time to activate.

They don't need to be faster, IMO. We just need more damage resistance during their activation.
