Unstable connection warning - total nonsense

I just logged in and saw the message at character select which said I have a persistently unstable connection and I may be restricted from matchmaking in future. I have played on the same setup (other than going from PS4 to PS4 pro) since Destiny 1 beta and have never seen this before. I just ran a wireless test at peak time , 6pm. 60Mb/s download , 9Mb/s upload. Fibre to house. I usually get 100Mb/s. I have had errors like weasel in destiny (like everyone else it seems) but not many. I have had no problems with any other game. I run on 5GHz wireless because wired connection has the irritating intermittent 'lan cable not connected' problem on the PS4 pro which you can Google all about if you are lucky enough not to have that firmware issue. Has this message been sent in error? How is my connection deemed unstable when it.....isn't.

  • Wifi is very susceptible to packet loss & interference...thus creating a potentially laggy connection. Thus, why you can’t judge your connection simply based on the speed/bandwidth alone.
