No new pvp maps and 1 new strike in beyond light?
The fact you want me to get beyond light with such lazy content and even your reskinned beloved is sickening. Yeah not in a million years

4 Repliesno pre-order here, but I have a, question if any one knows. what is the playable size of europa? let's list what we are getting in beyond light : new raid 1 new strike 2 returning strikes 9 new exotics? (not sure if this is true) europa cosmodrome new subclasses (kinda recycled) actual skill trees like d1 new legendaries (I hope, no reskins) modified gambit (couldn't care really) new story missions (how many?) can anyone think of anything else? these changes need to be pretty deep and game altering to be asking 50$ for this expansion. I may even pass on buying bl, I never bought shadowkeep either.

11 RepliesThis is bare bones compared to the Taken King. That gave us 4 strikes, a raid and 9 PvP maps, in addition to a long campaign. With Beyond Light we are actually losing more than we gain with sunsetting. Our money is definitely getting us less.

every pinnacle/ritual weapon has been a reskin of another gun the only reason yall are complaining now is because this time its a gun that we used being reskinned they've already said its gonna work differently and based off of the gameplay it seems to be a rapid-fire frame (which beloved wasn't) it has a different barrel scope etc the only similarity is the body under the cloth is the same

sooner or later you'll get an old D1 map, then podcasters, youtubers, and twitchtypes will tell you why you should be happy with the recycled content. You'll be appeased give in, and in a year, you'll write this same post.

Do not preorder it let alone buy it later on. It is the clearest message to send to Bungie. Otherwise, you get what you paid for: not much.

Then we'll see the excuses of "They'll fix it later", "This is just the start, give it time", "They need the money to make good content", etc. Whatever happened to the old days of expecting the full package -or at least a playable start to finish- like the old days of gaming??? I'd love nothing more than to see the unimaginative armchair jockeys get the boot over there at Bungle, but that'll likely not happen so long as they get money like they will from idiots who'll buy this.

5 RepliesYep we purchased all the Strikes in the game. Bungie conveniently forgets that. This is why they made them F2P. Now they can rip them out of the game at will. Come November the game is going to have less content than it does now. Fact.

What's interesting is that some believe they are removing so much and barely offering anything is to free up space to "help fix issues". Most of the issue this game has had nothing to do with freeing up space. It has to do with with bad codding and will still be there when BL is released with new issue as usual. IMO the drip feed content barley offering anything, FOMO, and season passes need to go. Quality content like Forsaken is what needs to be applied to this game.

I can do without new crucible maps, there are honestly already too many. It would be nice to get another strike or two. I'm excited that some of the strikes are coming back from the Cosmodrome, but that should always be in addition to new content. 2-3 strikes on Europa would be much better.

Yep. Reskined trials maps, weapons and armour wasn’t enough for them. There cut and paste addiction has no boundaries! 2014 moon is back with bits and bits here and there. 2014 cosmodrome is coming back No time to explain S1 strikes and raids. There amazing at bringing everything back apart from the fun factor, that’s long gone. But hey trials got glows right?

2 RepliesThis might actually be the first case of people paying for an expansion and actually getting less instead of more. In fact you can't even really call it an expansion. I just feel sorry for the poor souls who decide to jump in after Beyond Light. New Light was a serious cluster -blam!- for new players, Beyond isn't even going to have a coherent story.

3 RepliesI have loved the game and really wanted the game to evolved and to do well. I really hope Bungie reads this and listens to their players because more and more players are leaving. People are ready for Destiny 3, New powers, New locations New missions, pretty much a new game. Enough with the repetitive missions. With COVID right now and how it has affected their financial situation I doubt players will be spending that much money on an overpriced DLC with little to no content

Yeah, this game is way past it's sell by date. All they're doing is keeping the game alive for the loyalists in hopes they keep throwing money at the screen via Eververse until the end. But hey, can you blame them.
