I noticed a Main Ingredient rolled with Liquid Coils and a Charge Time masterwork, but these things cancel each other out. Liquid Coils gives +10 impact and +40ms charge time, and Charge Time masterwork gives -10 Impact and -40ms charge time.
It doesn't seem like this should even be possible as a roll since that's effectively removing a perk from the second column of the fusion rifle. I assume it happens on the other fusion rifles with those in their perk pool too. Just thought you Bungie folks might find it appropriate to adjust that as I don't think there are any other weapon types that have such a conflicting perk pool potential.

Well we obviously can't have good fusion rifles in the game. They either literally break the game (Telesto), get sunset (Loaded Question), get cried over in PvP (Erentil), or are simply not better than a shotgun instead (all other FRs).

Like getting firmly planted and moving target on the same weapon... should not exist. Hip fire grip on a sniper, tap the trigger on a rocket launcher. Smh

Fusion Rifles need a hard buff and the changes to the dmg/charge relationship need to be reverted. A charge time masterwork should be a flat boost, it shouldn't decrease your damage.

It's like the barrel and stuff on certain other weapons . It's so vague - says removes or reduces range yet try here is often more green on the bar! Then back up mag also. Just shows a green arrow but doesn't show how much extra it actually gives.

There’s plenty of perks that cancel each other out, why is that a problem? That’s like saying full bore shouldn’t roll with ricochet rounds. You have multiple perk options for a reason. Pick the one that makes the gun better.

Theres lots of perks that cancel each other out not just those 2 and perks that make it entirly worse like drop mag with substinance

Technically you could partially masterwork the Fusion and fine tune your RPM/damage to a very specific point, so it isn’t useless. I don’t know if it currently has any practical uses but it’s something to keep in mind.

Rapid fire frames can also roll backup plan...which does absolutely nothing to a rapid fire frame. 🤦♂️
