I am so sick of snipers, and I am so much more sick of the oversaturation of the same weapon types for pinnacle weapons. I personally want a crucible bow that's actually good, in the precision, primary slot. Hush was terrible and counterintuitive to all but one playstyle of bows, and stag was a last minute pursuit weapon with the single saving grace being that it is good against supers. You know what would be cool? A primary precision frame bow with old school Firefly. Idk what the other perk would be. Maybe multi kill clip. Killing a group of mobs with one precision kill will reward you with kill clip x3. Or how about rangefinder to pair? Give it elastic string, with a draw time of 612. Another combination could be headseeker and rampage. body shot enemies until rampage x3, then shift focus to the majors with a headseeker and rampage damage buff for a sweet one shot to the head on a major. C'mon Bungie. Don't like bows? How about a sword that has Flash Counter and Whirlwind Blade? Put it on a vortex frame sword. Oh! How about we give this single "pursuit" (pinnacle) weapon a set of base perks unlocked through the primary quest of unlocking the weapon. Whatever core activity you focused on can give you a set of perks rewarded for completing that activity. Through completing the other core activities, you unlock more node choices. By completing all three, you then have the option of mixing and matching the different perk choices. Hell, maybe even throw in another perk or trait that is static and active in its own additional slot. Something man. If you guys aren't going to bring back the skill to acquire the weapon nor uniqueness of the weapon and its perk, like how it was with Redrix's Claymore in season 3, and ONLY Redrix's Claymore in season 3, then at least get creative with how these "pursuit" weapons are. My bow rolls are 10x better than anything Hush or Stag can do. All of my bows.
