New to forums so apologies if this has been created. As I play other BR/ PvP based games I am starting to see more sophisticated ping mechanics involved in gameplay that assist with those that either have no mic or would chose to be silent over mic but what to still comm with fireteams/ teammates in pvp activities. This would be helpful in a variety of ways to assist with comms: 1.Gambit to call out HVT or invader (yes there are perks in Gambit Prime for sentry gear, but not in regluar gambit). 2. Fireteam during a number of matchmade/ lfg activities where to position team members/ tactics. 2a.Even when mics are available if we are searching for bones, eyes, etc for end game activities and we were able to ping vs 'shoot' the item for the others it would be beneficial. 3. PVP while still alive. there are areas where a teammember or yourself is rounding a bend and a ping to notify you of an oncoming enemy would be helpful or in a knockout like situation. 3.a. it would also be helpful for team tactics when needed or to grab the heavy brick. There are probably other areas I am missing as well as a toggle to be able to silence like other titles in case of spamming. I understand if there are development / game tactic reasons I have just noticed myself attempting to ping in game and forgetting the game I am in and thought this might be helpful at times.
