One of the telling lines is the video is when he states that autos were designed to be approachable for less skilled players . After you listen to it a couple times , it really seems as if he is saying that it’s okay to give the children something to keep them busy just don’t give them something that will kill me or I have to struggle against . Almost like providing the below average player the illusion of being able to compete while knowing full well that prior to the change , they would get close to killing you but ultimately you had a safety blanket with your hand cannon’s TTK time. Listen to it a couple times and tell me if it’s seems that way .

  • Before the auto buff, 600s used to kill at .8 seconds just like 150 handcannons. Both requiring all crits to hit optimal ttk.

you’re deluded - there should be no weapon in a game that A) has a 45% pick rate (console) and B) be so easy to use and be SO powerful. there is no skill gap, i have a new light friend who started playing a month ago, if he picks up a GH he drops kills, but he actually prefers and has more fun using a dire promise and does worse - YET he feels he is getting better and absolutely loves getting a 3 tap, yet also hates using a gnawing hunger? TV is right, there should be weapons that feel familiar to introduce people into PvP and learn the ropes, people are only scared of a hand cannon meta because they struggle with them

  • Well if he has more fun using a hand cannon then I’m sure he will use a hand cannon and let the chips fall where they may
