If Bungie insists on on putting Trials as a masterwork step, then I'd say it should be this:
- Earn 50 points in Trials of Osiris. Each round won gives 3 points, whilst a loss rewards 1 point.
Bungie has done similar progression with other quest steps (such as guardian kills reward more exp on bounties). Don't know why they couldn't do the same thing here.

Each round, not game. So if you win 5 - 0, you get 15 points. If you lose 0 - 5, you get 5 points. If you win 5 - 4, you get 19 points.

All I know is that getting 7 wins is not okay. Especially since it is cosmetic and not solo play friendly. Just today I tried getting the boots done. We won 4 games of the 10 or so we played. So give or take with the terrible match making system that it would take the average player close to 15 games to get the boots done. If Bungie was smart they'd do what I suggested above OR did this: Earn 15 points in the crucible by winning or losing matches. - All losses count as 1 point. - IB/Trials/Comp awards 3 points for a win - Base playlist wins count as 2 points. This would make it all player friendly to solo's and people that play with other alike.

It’s card based matchmaking it’s not terrible just be thankful it’s not a flawless or 7 wins on a card. Then you would [i]really[/i] be crying and whining. Just do the objective if you want to earn the reward, simple concept.

Simple concept that the majority of the player base will not be able to accomplish. Not to mention that it is a cosmetic in a free event. I myself can accomplish this. It is annoying, but I can. And even so, it is a completely unnecessary step to increase the amount of people playing Trials.

Each round one. So if you win 5 - 0 in a single game, you would get 15 points. If you lost a game 0 -5, you would only gain 5 points. So a max of 10 full games and a minimum of 4.
